Abstract: A safety device for gas burner includes a securing member 1, a press member 2, a slidable member 3, a retaining member (4, see Fig 1) and a button member 5. By manipulating the press member downwardly to reduce the height thereof, a connecting rod 32 of the slidable member displaces as a result of loss of support from a lap piece 24, with an abutting rod (33, Fig 1) contacting a stop piece 23 (see Fig 1) . The connecting rod laps an upper portion of the lap piece so that the press member cannot rebound. When the button member is pressed, an ignition means C is simultaneously actuated, and the wall hook 511 causes a gas supply means to supply fuel gas to a burner device E. The fuel gas is ignited by means of the ignition means. By pressing the retaining member, a fastening rod 42 fastens the gas supply means in position to maintain supply of fuel gas. After use, the button member returns to its original position and is automatically retained by the press member. The safety device is particularly applicable to burners used with bottled gas fuel.

At this time, when the button member is pressed, an ignition means is simultaneously actuated, and the wall hook causes a gas supply means to supply fuel gas to a burner device. The fuel gas is ignited by means of the ignition means, and a wall rod abuts against a trigger rod. By pressing the retaining member, a fastening rod fastens the gas supply means in position to maintain supply of fuel gas. After use, the button member returns to its original position and is automatically retained by the press member.

Abstract: A novel method and system for conducting wide-field multi-photon microscopy through plane-projection are provided, it has been discovered that the limitations of conventional temporal-focusing techniques, such as single excitation wavelength and low acquisition rates can be resolved utilizing a novel optical set-up in which an optical diffuser is used as the scatterer. The use of such an optical arrangement enables temporal focusing regardless of the central wavelength of laser pulses, in addition, the optical sectioning possible using the disclosed microscopy is comparable to confocal microscopy, and can be robustly achieved by both moderate and high NA objectives at 100-fs pulse width. Moreover, the multi-photon excitation efficiency of the disclosed system can be enhanced by lowering the repetition rate of the ultrafast laser light source at constant pulse width and average power.
