Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the more correct timing of valve control by avoiding an influence on the equilibrium state of a spool when oil pressure is abruptly changed in an oil flow-rate control valve. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the oil flow-rate control valve 10 for a cam phase shifter that comprises the spool 18, a spool housing 16, and a check valve 40. The spool 18 has a penetration bore 60, the check valve 40 is extended through the penetration bore 60, the check valve 40 is installed in the spool housing so as to be integrally formed in the housing 16 of the oil flow-rate control valve 10, and the spool 18 reciprocates around the check valve 40 so as to avoid the influence on the equilibrium state of the spool 18 when the oil pressure is abruptly changed in the oil flow-rate control valve due to the change of labor in the cam phase shifter caused by a valve train. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that pitching occurs on a vehicle and comfortability of an occupant is spoiled in braking when the vehicle linearly travels. SOLUTION: This method to brake the vehicle furnished with a brake caliper to be actuated as a function of target braking force, and actuation of at least a brake caliper of a rear wheel is cut off by stepping on a brake pedal. The method includes following processes: a process to detect a logical input condition having at least a deceleration test to be confirmed when an instantaneous value of deceleration of the vehicle is larger than a deceleration threshold value; a process to compute the rear base braking force by correcting braking force demanded by a driver so that the rear base braking force becomes larger than front base braking force; and a process to apply rear base braking force as the target braking force for the rear wheel so that pitching movement of the vehicle decreases at the time of deceleration. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide non-contact type detection system and method for detecting an obstacle to a powered door of a vehicle, preventing contact with the door. SOLUTION: This detection system includes an object detection sensor disposed in the powered door 12 to detect an object in an adjustable detection area, where a door position sensor detects the position of the door to at least one of the open and closed door positions, and a controller adjusts the detection area of the object detection sensor as a function of the detected door position. The sensor 22 is controlled to provide a first detection area 24A having a semi-spherical radius detection distance D. A movable door 12 is opened to the position over a predetermined position, so that the detection area of the sensor 22 is adjusted to a reduced size detection area 24B having a semi-spherical radius detection distance D of a reduced size. Thus, when the movable door 12 is placed in the completely opened door position, the radar sensor 22 is adjusted to the detection area 24C having the semi-spherical radius detection distance D. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable air filtration system. SOLUTION: The portable air filtration system 10 is provided with a filter housing 14 having an air inlet 24 and an air outlet 26. The filter housing 14 forms a filter chamber 28 between the air inlet 24 and the air outlet 26. An ionizing mechanism 18 ionizes particles in air into a negative charge. A filter medium 20 is arranged between the ionizing mechanism 18 for entrapping particles and the air outlet 26. An electrode 22 is arranged between the ionizing mechanism 18 and the filter mechanism 20 in order to establish an electric field. The electric field is established between the ionizing mechanism 18 and the electrode 22 adjacent to the filter medium 20. The electrode 22 is electrically connected with the ground 54 and also with the filter medium 20 for dissipating the negative charge of the particles entrapped within the filter medium 20. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condenser, in particular, a multifunctional condenser including a conduit passing through the second header, to take out energy from a refrigerant flowing through the condenser, in addition to condensation of the refrigerant, and to impart the energy to the refrigerant to a compressor flowing through the conduit. SOLUTION: This multifunctional condenser for an air-conditioning system includes the first header, the second header, a plurality of tubes, and the conduit. The tubes are extended with a parallel relation between the first and second headers to be fluid-communicated between the headers. The second header includes a header portion and a receiver portion. The conduit is extended inside the receiver portion and outside the receiver portion, is surrounded by the receiver portions, and a space is formed between the conduit and the receiver portions. Heat is transferred between the high-temperature refrigerant flowing in the receiver portion, and the relatively low-temperature refrigerant flowing through the header portion and the conduit, when the refrigerant separatedly from the refrigerant flowing in the space and the header portion flows through the conduit, so as to enhance the efficiency of the air-conditioning system as the whole.
