A controller A30 and a controller B40 are effectively operated as a main controller and a second controller, and a point processing is operated by the controller which operates as the main controller, and communication with the I/O modules 21-A to 21-D is operated. Also, communication with a plant control network connected with universal control network(UCN) 14-A to 14-B is operated, and states and history from the control network such as instructions from an operator are reported, and the inputs are received through the universal station.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable a pilot to quickly and accurately recognize the traffic condition by providing a first grid showing the front visual range of his airplane and a second grid showing the rear visual range of it and observing the traffic condition in the peripheral space in a three-dimensional perspective display form. CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional perspective display format 20 which emulates the relative space arrangement of air traffic as a natural three- dimensional air area with his airplane as the center is adopted. The front view on the outside of a window and the back mirror image of the air area behind the pilot are displayed on a display device, and traffic condition information is mapped on a pair of cylinder face grids 22 and 24. A reference airplane symbol 26 indicating the direction of the nose and the altitude of his airplane is included in the front view on the grid 22, and a simplified reference airplane symbol 28 indicating the direction and the altitude of the just tail of the airplane is displayed in the rear view on the grid 24. Thus, the pilot quickly and accurately recognizes the traffic condition with his airplane as the center.

The second layer 12 is composed of lithium/tantalate, for example, and advantageously coated with a second metal layer 14 of chromium, for example. The core 18 is preferably composed of polyimide.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To decrease the required dimensions of a photodetector responsive to a fringe pattern by converging an incident light beam to a selected point having smaller dimensions than an original light beam incident to a concave mirror. CONSTITUTION: Concave mirror 240, 245 are arranged to receive respective incident light beams which are advanced along optical paths passing through a solid prism structure and the dimensions of the beam are decreased near the local point of the concave mirror. Detectors 260, 265 are located, preferably, close to points SP1, SP2 and receive beams DBS1, DBS2 reflected on the concave mirrors 240, 245, respectively. Since the dimensions of the beam are reduced significantly near the focal point as compared with those of a beam incident to the concave mirror, dimensions of the phtodetectors 260, 2565 can be decreased significantly as compared with those of a conventional photodetector. It is only dimensions of photodetector that must be set on the order of dimensions of the beam near the focal point.

The lower surfaces of PZT 230, 235 are fixed to the surface 19 of the member 14. PZT 220 faces at PZT 230. The radial member 14 electrically common to the lower face of each PZT is electrically connected to one side of a potential source 270 through leads 15. Electrodes 240, 245, 250, 255 are electrically connected to the other side of the potential source 270 through Leeds 241, 246, 251, 256. Any one of the four PZT is usable singly or combined with others to feed a pick off signal as one representing the bend of the radial member 14.

The void 26 contains a semiconductor chip 30 having a chip junction pad 32. Bonding wires 36 of uniform length connect the package junction pads 14 and the chip junction pads 32. As a result, electrical disturbances or crosstalks between the adjacent wires is minimized, and productivity efficiency and repairing efficiency are enhanced.

Abstract: A computer system includes a main memory and a cache memory arrangement, wherein a cache memory unit is associated with each of the several CPU's in the system. Each cache responds to the virtual address signals issued by the associated CPU, in parallel with a mapper unit which, in turn, converts the virtual address signals to physical address signals for addressing the main memory. The cache is subdivided into subunits each responding to a particular program of a multiprogram CPU. When any of the CPUs address a shared portion of the main memory, the mapper unit recognizes the address of the shared portion of the main memory and issues an inhibit signal to inhibit the operation of the cache memory unit to prevent data from the shared portion of the main memory from being stored in the cache.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To suppress a common mode signal component by coupling an in-phase signal with an inverted signal. CONSTITUTION: An input signal including a differential component and a common mode component is fed to terminals 10, 12 and an output voltage V3 is proportional to an inverse of a mean value of the input signals VCM and VCM when resistance of resistors R2, R3 is selected equal. An amplifier 18 acts like a buffer whose gain is the unity to apply signal being the inverse of the common mode voltage to a node 26 of an adder circuit network 24. The common mode voltage component appearing at terminals 10, 12 of the adder circuit network 24 is proportional in the magnitude and opposite in the polarity to the common mode voltage signal outputted to the node 26 via the adder circuit network 14 and amplifiers 16, 18 by selecting each resistive component of the adder circuit network 24. Since a null value is produced at connecting points 28, 30, the effect of a common mode voltage is not given onto output voltages V1 , V2 , which represent a value denoting accurately a voltage difference fed to the terminals 10, 12.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a multilayered dielectric mirror which does not respond to a gyro environment without requiring many layers by forming the mirror of a plurality of thin TiO2 film/SiO2 1/4-wavelength layer pairs formed on a substrate and a plurality of second HfO2 or ZrO2 dielectric thin film/SiO2 1/4-wavelength layer pairs respectively formed on the thin TiO2 film/SiO2 1/4-wavelength layer pairs. CONSTITUTION: Many thin TiO2 film/SiO2 1/4-wavelength layer pairs 10 are formed on a substrate 11. On the first thin TiO2 layer/SiO2 1/4-wavelength layer pair, a second HfO2 or ZrO2 dielectric thin film/SiO2 1/4-wavelength layer pair 12 is formed. Since the high-refractive-index material of the lower layer, such as TiO2 , etc., has a high refractive index, a high reflectivity level can be attained, but each thin TiO2 film/SiO2 1/4-wavelength pair has sensitivity to UV. In order to reduce the sensitivity of a multilayer dielectric mirror to UV, the mirror is constructed in the above-mentioned two-layer structure in which the TiO2 /SiO2 layer pairs are coated with the HfO2 /SiO2 or ZrO2 /SiO2 pairs so as to bury the UV-sensitive material in the stack. Therefore, the sensitivity of the mirror to UV is reduced, and the total number of the constituent layers can be reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To make it possible to generate a digital signal accurately corresponding to an analog input signal by removing the inaccuracy of a conversion means by an output from a storage means for storing information for determining the practical parameter value of the conversion means. CONSTITUTION: An analog input signal is connected to an additional network 34 through a selector circuit 31 and 1st and 2nd input amplifiers A0 , A1 and an output from the network 34 is connected to the analog input terminal of an integrated circuit 40. The circuit 40 is a double integrated A/D converter and is allowed to convert an analog input voltage into a time pulse in cooperation with a digital processor 20. The characteristic parameters of an analog circuit 80 are stored in a memory 50 interlocking with the circuit 80 and supplied by the processor 20 in order to correct a digital signal, so that a difference of parameters can be compensated. Consequently accurate conversion can be attained.
