Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an assembly of a sunshade clip and spectacles using nose-pad means. The spectacles comprise a pair of lens frames connected to each other by means of a bridge, a pair of temple arms connected to the respective lens frames by means of a pair of magnetically-induced hinges, and a pair of magnets inserted in the nose-pad means of the spectacles. The sunshade clip comprises a pair of sunshade lenses connected to each other by means of a sunshade bridge, a pair of sunshade magnet arms mounted on or below the sunshade bridge to extend toward the nose-pad means of the spectacles. Each of the magnet arms has a magnet inserted in an end region thereof. In this way, the sunshade clip is detachably attached to the spectacles by making use of magnetic force of their magnets.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and a device for coupling spectacles and clip-on sunshades with each other, the spectacles having first lens frames connected together at their inner ends by a first nose frame, lenses fitted into respective first lens frames and arms mounted to outer ends of the first lens frames through hinges, the clip-on sunshades having second lens frames connected together at their inner ends by second nose frame and tinted lenses fitted into respective second lens frames. The device comprises a permanent magnet disposed to one of the spectacles and the clip-on sunshades at a predetermined position in a manner such that the soft magnetic member of the other of the spectacles and sunshades can be mated with the permanent magnet thereby to couple the spectacles and the clip-on sunshades with each other.
Abstract:
The wavelength multiplexing and demultiplexing characteristics of the AWG (Arrayed Waveguide Grating) module are closely related to specificity of spectral position dependent on specific wavelengths. The positional specificity is such that when a position of the originally designed input waveguide (1) is moved horizontally in x-direction (9) along the tangential interface of the input slab waveguide (3) to the incident light propagation path, the wavelengths of light entering into the output waveguide (2) undergoes proportionate shifting. The wavelength at the output waveguide (2) shits by dλwhen the position is moved by dx in the horizontal direction from the center of the focal point of the input slab waveguide (3). The temperature dependency of the wavelength can be compensated by utilizing this positional shifting of wavelengths; namely by changing input waveguide's position on the input slab guide (3). In order to move the position of the input waveguide (1) passively upon the temperature change, it is necessary to move horizontally (x-direction (9)) the position of the originally designed input waveguide (1) attached with a temperature compensation rod (10) having larger TEC than substrate; the horizontal movement is effected when the temperature compensation rod (10) undergoes thermal expansion and contraction. The present invention features the novelty of temperature-independent AWG module and the manufacturing method, regarding specifically to improvement of optical loss and optical return, and to the suitable materials for the temperature compensation rod, which matches to the specific wavelength division spacing.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a whole soybean curd production system having a heating device and a cooling device, and a method for producing whole soybean curd and, more specifically, to a whole soybean curd production system and a method for producing whole soybean curd, the whole soybean curd production system comprising: a heating device having a steam boiler formed to be opened and closed so as to enable inside thereof to be cleaned; and a cooling device having a cooling means formed from a Peltier element.
Abstract:
Provided is a guitar effector loop in which a plurality of foot switches (600) are installed in a body so that the plurality of foot switches (600) are connected to a guitar (a), an amplifier (b), and a plurality of compactors (500), and various combinations of the compactors (500) are obtained. In a state in which the No. 1 alternative switch (611) and the No. 2 alternative switch (612) are turned off, or the No. 2 alternative switch (612) is turned on, when the No. 1 alternative switch (611) is turned on, the compactor (500) set by the No. 1 alternative switch (611) is turned on, and the compactor (504) set by only the No. 2 alternative switch (612) is turned off. Thus, the number of combinations of the guitar effectors may increase without increasing the number of switches.
Abstract:
The apparatus for foreign language study includes: a voice recognition device configured to recognize a speech entered by a user and convert the speech into a speech text; a speech intent recognition device configured to extract a user speech intent for the speech text using skill level information of the user and dialog context information; and a feedback processing device configured to extract a different expression depending on the user speech intent and a speech situation of the user. According to the present invention, the intent of a learner's speech may be determined even though the learner's skill is low, and customized expressions for various situations may be provided to the learner.
Abstract:
A method of processing EPG metadata in a network according to one embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of performing a services discovery procedure utilizing multiple service discovery metadata components supplied by a service provider and processing an EPG metadata. Preferably, the performing step includes the steps of receiving a master SI table which locates in a master SI table location in provisioning information, wherein the provisioning information includes multiple elements, an EPG provider information element in the multiple elements having both a first target virtual channel map identifier element and an EPG data locator element, the first target virtual channel map identifier element indicating that services are covered by each of the EPG metadata provider's EPG data sources, receiving a virtual channel map table which locates in virtual channel map locations in the received master SI table, receiving a virtual channel description table which locates in virtual channel description table locations in the received virtual channel map table, and receiving a source table which locates in source table locations in the received virtual channel description table.
