At the time of a Hi-to-Lo speed change of a transmission, which is configured to transmit an output torque of a motor to a driveshaft, in an accelerator off state or in a low acceleration state with the driver's slight depression of an accelerator pedal, an engine is controlled to be driven at a rotation speed of not lower than a speed change-time minimum rotation speed that is higher than an idling rotation speed. When the driver depresses the accelerator pedal to require a large torque demand, such drive control enables quick output of a large torque from the engine to a ring gear shaft as the driveshaft.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a thermal print head includes a conductor layer formation step, a first measurement step, a conductor layer splitting step and a second measurement step. In the conductor layer formation step, a single conductor layer including first and second measurement points is formed on a substrate. In the first measurement step, the electrical resistance is measured in the conductor layer, between the first and the second measurement points. In the conductor layer splitting step, a predetermined portion of the conductor layer is removed, so that a first electrode including the first measurement point and a second electrode including the second measurement point are formed. In the second measurement step, the resistance between the first and the second electrodes is measured. If the conductor layer has a disconnected portion in the first measurement step, a repairing conductor is formed on the disconnected portion.

When the shift stage of a transmission is not being changed, a change gear ratio Gr of a transmission is calculated by setting an inputted rotation speed Nm2 as a control rotation speed Nm2*, and when the shift stage of the transmission is being changed, the change gear ratio Gr is calculated by setting the rotation speed that is obtained by adding a value obtained by multiplying a difference ΔNm2, which corresponds to the time differential component of the rotation speed Nm2, by a gain km to the rotation speed Nm2 (S130 to S160). By using these, torque commands Tm1* and Tm2* of motors MG1 and MG2 are set so that the engine is operated at an operation point represented by a target rotation speed Ne* and a target torque Te*, by which the engine and the motors MG1 and MG2 are controlled.

Abstract:
Processing load on an executing device for conducting playback is high during the playback of contents since the executing device performs verification of the contents validity in parallel with the contents playback, and therefore the executing device has to be equipped with a highly efficient processor. The present invention reduces the processing load involved in the verification by using, for the verification, only a predetermined number of encrypted units selected randomly from multiple encrypted units consisting encrypted contents recorded on the DVD. In addition, the present invention is capable of improving the accuracy of detecting unauthorized contents to some extent by randomly selecting a predetermined number of encrypted units every time the verification is performed.

The present invention provides a recording medium that allows the content provider to control messages. The recording medium is provided by a content provider and records thereon content and a program which is executed at the time of playback of the content by a playback apparatus. The program causes the playback apparatus to execute: an interacting step of interacting with a different program prestored in the playback apparatus and executed at the time of the playback of the content; and an output step of transmitting, to the different program, a message determined according to the result of the interaction. The playback apparatus comprises: a reading unit operable to read the program from the recording medium at the time of the playback of the content; a startup unit operable to start up the read program; an interaction unit operable to interact with the program; and a processing unit operable to receive a message corresponding to result of the interaction from the recording medium and perform a process corresponding to the received message.

If the key generation information is “10”, the key control unit 104 sets a rights key as the content key. If the key generation information is “01”, the key control unit 104 concatenates the decrypted media key and the rights key in this order, and applies a one-way function to the concatenation result to generate the content key.

A content-related information delivery system for delivering information related to a content to a user-owned apparatus. The system is composed of a playback apparatus and a server. The playback apparatus monitors a current playback position of the content during playback, generates playback position information specifying a segment of the content, and transmits the generated playback position information to the server. The server receives the playback position information from the playback apparatus, acquires information related to the segment of the content specified by the received playback position information, and transmits the acquired related information to the user-owned apparatus.
