Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber tip contact type brush equipped with a fluid imparting bottle for imparting fluid selectively, especially during the conditioning treatment of brush.
SOLUTION: A fiber bundle formed of a multitude of fibers (26) is attached within a brush tube (24) at a stator (21) side. A part of the brush tube holds the fiber bundle, by subjecting it to crimping (crimp) or swaging processing; and the fiber bundle extends downwardly from the brush tube and is engaged with a rotor (22). A fluid bottle (28) is mounted onto a collimator tube (25) surrounding a part of the brush tube and extending downwardly, and a lubricant or the like within the bottle is imparted gradually to the fiber bundle. The fluid bottle can be formed of porous material.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved biaxial type pointing motor. SOLUTION: There is provided an improvement of a biaxial pointing motor 20 including a frame 21 and an armature 22. The armature 22 has the axis x-x passing the point P. The armature 22 is mounted on the frame 21 to control the full-direction pivot movement of the axis around the point. The motor 20 has a permanent magnet 24 mounted on the armature 22 and a plurality of coils 25 which are mounted on the frame 21 to generate the electromagnetic flux to be controlled to pivot the armature 22 around the point. In one hand, improvement includes that of a coil to be positioned to perfectly provide the total volume of each coil within the virtual hemi-sphere (h) generated around the point. This semi-sphere has the radius determined freely but surrounds the coil. On the other hand, improvement includes that of armature having the magnetic conductive surface 33 which is formed as a segment of sphere.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable, improved and robust electromagnetic power motor excellent in weight efficiency which can be manufactured economically, modified easily and employed in the design of various servo valve and actuator. SOLUTION: The motor comprises a body 11, a pair of permanent magnets 15L, 15R, an electromagnetic coil 20 and an armature 13. The armature is positioned relative to the body to form two working air gaps 30, 31 and one nonworking air gap 29. Each working air gap contains a flux which is the algebraic sum of the flux from the permanent magnet and the flux from a coil. The nonworking air gap contains only the flux from the permanent magnet. A conductive member 14 is fixed to the armature, positioned in the nonworking air gap and moved in the direction substantially perpendicular to the flux in the air gap. An eddy current is generated as a function of the speed of the armature relative to the body but not as a function of variation in the flux due to the position of the armature.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve operating apparatus to facilitate access of the operating apparatus to a constitution part and prevent the occurrence of a backlash when a valve is opened and closed. SOLUTION: Two guide rods 50 and 52 are arranged between a fixed plate 20 and a guide plate 32 so that a guide plate 32 is movable. The guide rods 50 and 52 are surrounded with springs 60 and 62, respectively. The ends on one side of the springs 60 and 62 are brought into impact contact with the fixed plate 20, the ends on the other side are brought into impact contact with the guide plate 32, and bias is applied in a manner that the guide plate 32 goes away from the fixed plate 20. The guide plate 32 transmits movement thereof to a valve rod 28 only when the guide plate is moved in a direction in which it goes away from the fixed plate 20. Movement of a rod 16 is transmitted to the valve rod 28 through a clamp 22, a matching coupling 24, and a coupling pipe 26 only when the rod 16 is moved toward a cylinder 14. Regarding movement in a reverse direction, movement of the guide plate 32 is transmitted to the valve rod 28 by a C-washer 36 and a nut 34.
