    Abstract: A surface cleaning apparatus has a cyclone bin assembly having a cyclone chamber. The cyclone chamber with a physical filtration member defining the cyclone air outlet. The physical filtration member extends from the cyclone air inlet end of the cyclone chamber towards an openable bottom end of the cyclone chamber. The physical filtration member comprises a conical section which decreases in diameter towards the openable bottom end of the cyclone chamber, wherein a projection of the conical section meets at a location that is positioned between the physical filtration member and the openable opposed end. An openable bottom end of the cyclone bin assembly and the openable bottom end of the cyclone chamber are openable concurrently.

    Abstract: A puller apparatus has a path through which an extrusion travels downstream from an outlet of an extruder and upper and lower extrusion puller members that define a portion of the path. At least one of the extrusion puller members is a drive member to provide forward motion to an extrusion. A mounting arm is moveably mounted to the puller apparatus at a mounting location. The mounting arm has a first portion on one side of the mounting location and a second portion on an opposed side of the mounting location. The upper extrusion puller member is mounted to the first portion of the mounting arm. The mounting arm is movable from a lowered position in which the upper extrusion puller member is positioned to engage an extrusion in the path and a raised position in which the upper extrusion puller member is spaced upwardly from the lowered position.

    Abstract: A hand vacuum cleaner comprises a main body comprising an upper end having a dirty air inlet, a lower end, a front end and a rear end, the main body housing a suction motor and fan assembly, the suction motor and fan assembly having a suction motor axis of rotation; a cyclone unit 112 comprising a cyclone 160 and a dirt collection chamber 164, the cyclone having a cyclone axis of rotation (484, fig 18), a front end having a cyclone air inlet 180, a longitudinally spaced apart rear end having a cyclone air outlet 184, and a sidewall having an upper portion and a lower portion, wherein the cyclone axis of rotation extends between the front end and the rear end of the cyclone and when the cyclone axis is oriented horizontally, the cyclone air inlet is in the upper portion of the sidewall of the cyclone and the dirt collection chamber is underneath the cyclone; and wherein when the hand vacuum cleaner is oriented with the cyclone underneath the upper end, the cyclone axis of rotation is generally horizontal. Also disclosed is a hand vacuum with an air treatment member and a dirty air inlet comprising an inlet passage that extends longitudinally between an inlet end and an outlet end and has a longitudinal passage axis, the outlet end of the inlet passage communicates with the air treatment member air inlet.

    Abstract: Various embodiments are described herein for an environmental control system. In one example embodiment, the system is an HVAC system including an HRV or ERV unit, a first distribution system, and an ambient energy distribution system. The first distribution system has a first end in thermal communication with the HRV or ERV unit and a second end in thermal communication with the interior of a domicile. The ambient energy distribution system extends between first and second locations in the domicile and is isolated from fluid flow communication with the first distribution system. The ambient energy distribution system transfers heat between the first and second locations.
