SOLUTION: The system includes a remote control unit RC connecting to local control units LC-LC3 by a data transmission link L and the unit RC controls different parts of the link respectively. Each of the local control units LC-LC3 is connected to each data reception and driver unit DAD. Sensor and actuator units SA1-SA3 are placed to cables C1-C8 and joints J1-J11 respectively to allow each unit DAD to bring the cables C1-C8 and the joints J1-J11 under its control.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire having a tread pattern enabling proper traction performance to be maintained even on a muddy snowy road, or on a loose road surface in either case, and having optimum running behavior on an asphalt road. SOLUTION: A tread band 1 has transversely opposed cross notches 6 each having an approximately straight end stretch 6a extending from its outer edge 1a at an appropriate inclination angle, has a connecting stretch 6c extending in a curve, and has an inner-end stretch 6b extending beyond an equatorial plane X to serve as a terminal and having a direction slightly inclined to the equatorial plane. The connecting stretch 6a of each cross stretch 6 opens to the inside of the connecting stretch of the transversely opposed cross stretch, forming cross grooves 3 in a rugged expanding part. Two longitudinal grooves 2, each of which consists of an approximately straight stretch 2a extending between the two cross grooves 3 in a direction inclined to the equatorial plane X, are also provided. L-shaped auxiliary notches 8 are interposed in order such that they alternate with the cross notches 6 defining the grooves 3.

SOLUTION: In a vulcanizing mold 2 of a car tire, an adherend of a rubber mixture is removed by the action of one or more laser beam 9 supplied in a short lasting time and high energy pulse form and, by the action of shock waves generated from the laser beam to collinde with the acting surface of the mold 2, the rubber mixture is separated. The laser beam 9 is guided by the scanners 21a, 21b attached to a column 16 rotated so as to be capable of distributing the action of the laser beam over the whole of the stretched part in the circumferential direction of the mold.

A preforming process applied to the wires 2a, 2b arranged parallelly in the axis of the same plane can thereby be controlled much better.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsional vibrator in which the torsional rigidity of the substructure of a tire can be measured by dynamic measurement. SOLUTION: A torsional vibrator 1 has a D.C. electric motor 2 having an induction winding 7. A direct current is supplied to the induction winding through an inverter means 11 capable of alternately changing its polarity in a prescribed frequency. A wheel 13 formed of a rim 14 and a tire 15 is integrated to the shaft 8 of the electric motor 2, and acceleration transducers 18, 19, 20, 21 are related to the rim 14 and the tire 15 of the wheel. The shaft 8 of the motor 2 is driven so that the wheel 13 can be torsionally vibrated to generate an angle vibration 27 for vibrating the wheel in the rotating direction. The acceleration transducers 18, 19, 20, 21 detect rotating vibrations and provide the measured values of acceleration of the rim 14 and the tire 15.

The elastomer incorporating the cords 7a, 7, 8a, 8b is filled with reinforcing fibers, short aramid fibers or aramid pulp for example, and has a modulus of elasticity between 15-50 MPa to prevent the rupture of the metallic cords 7a, 7b by the action of the bending load.
