Abstract:
The invention concerns a service and/or product dispensing apparatus comprising a coin-receiving device, a coin-storage box (5) and said chute (7) transferring coins from the receiving device to the box (5). The invention is characterised in that said chute (7) co-operates with a closing device (8) comprising a trap (82) mobile between a position closing and a position opening said chute (7), said device (8) co-operating with control means (40) adapted to trigger the displacement of the trap (82) into its closing position when at least part of the coin-receiving device (4) is being dismantled.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for data securement using a cryptographic algorithm comprising at least a cycle executing repetitive operations of processing data elements (K2, R1) to produce encrypted information (C), said method comprising at least a step (120, 220) randomly modifying the execution of at least one operation from one cycle to the next or at least one of the data elements such that the encrypted information is unaltered by said random modification.
Abstract:
A write command comprises a definition of a memory zone (ZN) followed by data to be stored in that memory zone. Such a write command may be, for example, a write command in accordance with ISO 7816 standard relating to smart cards. The write command is processed in the following manner. In a receiving step (F4), the data is written into a buffer memory (RAM). In an erasure step (F3), the memory zone (ZN) defined by the write command is erased while the data is written into the buffer memory (RAM). Thus, the receiving step (F4) and the erasure step (F3) are, at least partially, effected in parallel. In a transfer step (F7), the data is transferred from the buffer memory (RAM) to the memory zone (ZN) defined by the write command.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for managing a public telephone network (1) comprising at least a management server (3) and public telephones (10, 10') providing access through an appropriate interface to a data transport system (2) such as the WEB and Internet. The invention is characterised in that the data exchanged by the users of said public telephones (10, 10') when accessing said data transport system are supervised to generate databases concerning the identity of users and/or the type of operations carried out such as consulting sites or sending messages.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a closed parking lot for motor vehicles (1) comprising means controlling entries and exits (2, 3, 5, 6), characterised in that said means controlling entries and exits (2, 3, 5, 6) co-operate with short range communication means, said short range communication means being adapted to interact with mobile radiotelephones (9) likewise equipped with short range communication means.
Abstract:
In a card manufacturing method, a buffer film (BF) is sandwiched between a core sheet (CS) and a printable sheet (PS). The buffer film (BS) is substantially rigid at room temperature and is substantially flexible at a temperature of 100 degrees Celsius. One or more graphic items can be printed on the printable sheet (PS). Subsequently, the printable sheet (PS) may be provided with a protective film, preferably by means of a hot roll. The buffer film (BF) prevents that the card thus obtained will be bend.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for authenticating a user's personal code in an integrated circuit card received in a reader equipped with a keyboard and connected to a computer, and capable of admitting at least one type of card. Said method consists in: transmitting from the computer to the reader formatting instructions corresponding to the card type and a command for authenticating said code; verifying the authentication command in the reader; for a matching authentication command, set the reader in secure mode; input the code on the reader keyboard and formatting the input code; transmitting to the card integrated circuit the formatted code and the authentication command thereof.
