A two piece thermoformed container 310 comprising a tray 312 and a lid 314 for holding a product or products. The container 310 is portable, recloseable and provides easy access to the contents. The tray 312 includes a front wall 320, a rear wall 322 and opposing side walls 318. The lid 314 is moveable in a sliding fashion between a fully closed position in which the lid 314 is substantially aligned with the tray 312 and an opened position in which the contents of the tray 312 are accessible. The tray 312 has a flat top wall 330 that can be sealed with flexible film 308.

Flexible membrane lid (30) for a container comprising a top paper layer (75) which is perforated to form a perimeter of at least one peelable portion and a bottom film layer. In some embodiments, the bottom film layer is partially adhered to the top paper layer, wherein the layers are not adhered within the perimeter of the peelable portion. In other embodiments, the layers are adhered with a pressure sensitive adhesive within the perimeter of the peelable portion and with a permanent adhesive in the remainder of the area between the top paper layer and bottom film layer. In other embodiments, the invention relates to a flexible membrane lid for a container comprising a top paper layer comprising a pull tab and a bottom film layer which is removably adhered to the top paper layer, wherein bottom film layer comprises a separate pull tab.

A system (30) and method is provided for enabling a parts supplier to verify that a customer's part or part assembly requirements are satisfied and for creating a label (32) for a shipping container (28) in which the parts or part assemblies (24) are shipped to the customer. The system (30) also verifies that the label (32) matches the parts and/or part assemblies (24) that have been loaded into the shipping container (28).

Die Erfindung sieht vor, dass das Deckelteil (oder der Deckelring) an seiner dem Deckelring (oder dem Deckelteil) zugewandten Seite eine Lage aus einem peelfähigen Kunststoffmaterial aufweist, wobei die peelfähige Lage ein siegelbares, thermoplastisches Polymer enthält oder mit einer Decklage aus einem solchen Polymer beschichtet ist, und dass der Deckelring (oder das Deckelteil) an seiner dem Deckelteil (oder dem Deckelring) zugewandten Stirnseite wenigstens zwei parallel und unter einem Abstand von höchstens 3 mm angeordnete Umfangsvorsprünge (4c, 4d) aufweist, welche mit der peelfähigen Lage oder der Decklage des Deckelteils (oder des Deckelrings) versiegelt sind. A reclosable package (10) is described that includes a package integrity feature (50) defined by an inner film layer (25) of the package. The package integrity feature includes a first die cut portion (52) and a second die cut portion (54) that both extend from a main die cut portion (40) at least partially defining the opening (45) of the package. The first and second die cut portions are continuous with each other and with the main die cut portion, such that they are defined by a single cut line. In some cases, the package integrity feature includes a neck region (56) that tears when the package is opened and an anchor region (58) that resists delamination. Because the first and second die cut portions are continuously formed with each other, the anchor region may have a circular or elliptical shape and is, thus, easier and more consistently manufactured, allowing for better performance.

An opening feature for a flexible laminate membrane having a metal foil layer sandwiched between first and second structures is formed by a first score line through a thickness of the first structure but not breaching the metal foil layer, and a second score line through a thickness of the second structure but not breaching the metal foil layer, the first and second score lines together encompassing a removable panel portion of the flexible membrane. A press-and-pull tab constituting part of the removable panel portion is arranged to be pressed downward to cause the metal foil layer to break in the region of the tab, and then to be grasped and pulled upward to cause the metal foil layer to break all around a periphery of the removable panel portion to enable the removable panel portion to be completely removed from the flexible membrane.

A reclosable package formed from a sheet having a layered structure formed on a first region of the outer surface proximate a top edge thereof, formed by a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) and a sealant coating covering the PSA. The sheet is folded about transverse fold lines and side seals are formed along the two side edges of the sheet, and a flap portion of the sheet overlaps the layered structure. Permanent seals are formed between the sealant coating of the layered structure and the flap portion. The first permanent seal has a higher bond strength than that between the sealant coating and the PSA.

A ring (28) is connected to the projecting portions (30) and surrounds the container rim (18). A plurality of retaining fingers (34) are provided, with each finger spaced from one another and interleaved within the spacing between adjacent projecting portions (30). The fingers (34) project inwardly from the ring and include a projected end for engagement with the container rim. The projected ends of the fingers include a varied or undulating surface.

The bulk bag comprises an upper section that defines a product compartment and a sleeve suspended below the upper section that defines a pocket for receiving the pallet. The pallet may be foldable to facilitate insertion of the pallet into the sleeve.
