    Abstract: A touch panel-based switch includes a control circuit layer, a sensing layer, a dielectric layer, and a touch operation layer, stacked in the order. The sensing layer electrically connected to the control circuit layer includes plural sensing cell, and the dielectric layer is flexible. The touch operation layer is flexible as well and includes a button area and an adjacent non-button area. The button area includes a ground plane stacked on the dielectric layer and a first touch cover stacked on the ground plane, and the non-button area includes a second touch cover stacked on the dielectric layer. Plural though openings are provided in the button area corresponding to the sensing cells such that a portion of the dielectric layer is exposed.

    Abstract: A touch sensitive device includes a capacitive touch panel with plural electrodes, a driving and sensing circuit electrically connected to the electrodes through sensing lines, and at least one conductive member. The conductive member is arranged orthogonal to and crosses the sensing lines without contact and is electrically connected to the driving and sensing circuit. Therefore, a stable coupling capacitance is provided for a one dimensional capacitive touch panel for improved touch sense performance.

    Abstract: A touch panel includes a substrate defining thereon a touch sensing region; a sensor array formed in the touch sensing region; and connecting lines arranged on the substrate and corresponding to the sensor elements one on one. The sensor array consists of sensor elements separately positioned on the substrate, and defined as a plurality of groups, wherein the sensor elements in the same group include a central sensor element and a plurality of surrounding sensor elements. Each of the connecting lines is connected to one and only one of the sensor elements corresponding thereto. The surrounding sensor elements are defined as a plurality of sets of surrounding sensor elements, which are respectively driven with corresponding connecting line or lines, and return signals for determining which part of the central sensor element is touched.

    Abstract: For sensing a control point on a capacitive-type panel, first and second voltage signals are respectively received through two sets of receiving lines selected from N receiving lines in response to first and second charge/discharge signals transmitted through two sets of transmitting lines selected from M transmitting lines, respectively, during a specified time period. A characteristic value is generated by operating the first and second voltage signals. Repeat the steps to generate characteristic values for neighboring regions defined by different combinations of transmitting lines and receiving lines. Position information of control point(s) on the capacitive-type panel is estimated accordingly.

    Abstract: A touch-sensitive module is provided. The touch-sensitive module includes at least one first sub-unit. The first sub-unit includes a first sensor pad, a second sensor pad and a wrapper. The second sensor pad has a first portion and a second portion separated from each other. The first sensor pad passes through a gap between the first portion and the second portion of the second sensor pad. Two ends of a wire are electrically connected to the first portion and the second portion of the second sensor pad, respectively. The wrapper covers the first sensor pad and the second sensor pad. A first lead and a second lead connected to the first sensor pad protrude from the wrapper. A third lead and a fourth lead connected to the second sensor pad protrude from the wrapper.
