Abstract: PURPOSE: A water-in-oil lip makeup composition containing natural pigment is provided to freshly use with excellent color expression, moisturization, and freshness. CONSTITUTION: A water-in-oil lip makeup composition contains natural pigment, polyol, metal ion sequestering agent, acidity adjusting agent, purified water, and surfactant. The natural pigment is sweet potato, hisandra chinensis Baillon, Curcuma longa Linne, beet, paprika or red radish pigment. The polyol is glycerin, buryleneglycol, or propylene glycol. The metal ion sequestering agent is disodium EDTA, hydroxyethylidenediphosphoate, or trisodium phosphate. The acidity adjusting agent is citric acid/sodium citrate or salicylic acid/sodium salicylate. The surfactant is ester-based surfactant or silicon-based surfactant.
