Abstract: A method for detecting neighbor station includes: mobile station MS scanning and synchronizing with the scanned station; receiving the signal sent by the synchronized station and obtaining an identity of the synchronized station; reporting the obtained identity to the a base station BS or relay station RS serving the MS. Abstract: The method for transmitting information in the wireless relay system includes the step that the information sent between the source node to the target node is relayed by several RSs. The RSs can send information in the same time-frequency field or different time-frequency field. The target node decodes the information from the RSs simultaneously when the information is in the same time-frequency field. Then the target decodes the information respectively from the different time-frequency field, and connects each information decoded to obtain the result. A system for transmitting information in the wireless relay system is given at the same time. The method and system above can improve the reliability of link transmitting, balance the load among RSs, and improve the QoS of the target node.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for switching in a wireless relay system, the method comprises: a relay station RS monitors dynamically up-link signal quality of terminal MS, and reports the signal quality to a serving station; the serving station determines an anchor RS from the RS reporting up-link signal quality of MS according to up-link signal quality information reported by the RS; judges whether the anchor RS changed, if not, the RS normally runs, continues to monitor up-link signal; or switches to a new determined anchor RS to forward serving data between the serving station and the MS. In additional, the present invention also discloses a wireless relay system for implementing switching. The method and system supplied by the present invention can realize switching between the RS and the BS in the case that the MS don't know presence of the RS.

Abstract: A paging method, a wireless network, a base station and a relay station in the wireless communication field are disclosed, which enable the terminal to be paged normally when there are relay stations in the network. In the present invention, the base station or the relay station starts paging in its own coverage area and sends down the paging message level by level upon receiving the paging message of a terminal in idle mode. The base station or the relay station can send down the paging message to the lower level relay station after it has received the paging message of a terminal in idle mode; it can also start paging first in the coverage area of the base station or the relay station, if it doesn't received the response message in a predetermined time period, it will send down the paging message to the lower level relay station. The relay station or base station stops sending down the paging message when it has received a location update request or network re-access request from the lower level relay station or from the terminal or when the paging times has reached the maximum paging times; the relay station can also stop sending down the paging message upon receiving a stopping paging message from the higher level relay station or base station.
