Abstract: PURPOSE: An electronic seal system for containers is provided to enhance the security of information stored in the electronic tag of a container. CONSTITUTION: An electronic tag(101) is prepared in an electronic seal device of a container that accepts a freight. The electronic tag includes a memory for storing the information related to the opening and transportation of the container. At least one reader(102) is prepared in a certain section of the transportation line of the container. The reader communicates with the electronic tag to transmit and receive the information to and from the memory. A management server(103) inputs and outputs the information, which is encoded and decoded through a security algorithm, to and from the memory through the reader.
