Abstract:
PURPOSE: A medical image management system utilizing a UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) service and method thereof are provided to stream image data received from a medical image acquisition apparatus to an inquiry terminal by storing the image data in a DB(DataBase) server. CONSTITUTION: A DICOM(Digital Imaging And Communication in Medicine) engine unit of a server unit changes a format of DICOM image files transmitted from medical image acquisition apparatuses(10) into a suitable image file format to be transmitted to a UPnP network. An image storage server(30) stores the DICOM image files and the image files of the changed format by connecting to the server unit. UPnP renderers(40,50) receive and search data and image files of the changed format.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An integrated home network system using SCP and a method thereof are provided to reduce the system operation costs through SCP(Simple Control Protocol) system design of various electronic information devices. CONSTITUTION: An integrated home network system comprises an SCP network, a UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) network, and an SCP-to-UPnP bridge. A plurality of SCP apparatus is connected to the SCP network. A plurality of UPnP devices is connected to the UPnP network. The SCP-to-UPnP bridge interlinks the SCP network with the UPnP network. Without constructing an additional mechanical bridge, the SCP devices are controlled in one logical network.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A context-aware healthcare system through interoperability between AV network based on UPnP/OSGi and a Zigbee wireless sensor network is provided to monitor the state and environment of solitary elders and manage the solitary elders. CONSTITUTION: A flex remote object bundle unit(346) transmits image data from a camera and a camcorder to an external management server and receives a control signal from the external management server. An action bundle unit(342) is connected through a UPnP service bundle unit to the flex remote object bundle unit. The UPnP service bundle unit transmits image data from the camera and the camcorder to the flex remote object bundle unit and receives a control signal from the flex remote object bundle unit.
