Abstract: PURPOSE: An electronic visitor managing system is provided to manage information and a visit record of a visitor and a receiver automatically using a computer. CONSTITUTION: An input device(10) inputs information of a receiver. An automatic character recognizing device(12) recognizes identification cards of at least two visitors. A central calculation processing device(14) stores and manages information of the receiver inputted in the input device(10) and information of the visitor read in the automatic character recognizing device(12). If the visitor information recognized from the identification cards is not identified, an alarm signal output unit(16) generates an alarm signal in accordance with a control of the central calculation processing device(14). A database(20) stores information and a visit record of a visitor and receiver in accordance with a control of the central calculation processing device(14).
