Abstract: A main frame structure for an automatic door and a construction method of a main frame for an automatic door are provided to improve workability and constructability at the installation of an automatic door by manufacturing a column frame, a fix frame and an engine frame individually, assembling the individual frames into a main frame in a construction site and assembling the main frame to anchor bolts buried under an external wall of an opening. A main frame structure for an automatic door is formed by manufacturing a column frame, a fixed frame and an engine box frame individually and assembling to an opening using fastening bolts coupled to anchor bolts buried in an opening. A construction method of a main frame for an automatic door comprises the steps of: manufacturing a main frame(4) into a column frame(7), a fix frame(9) and an engine box frame(12) individually; assembling the column frame, the fix frame and the engine box frame of the main frame to anchor bolts buried under an external wall of an opening finished at construction or after construction of a building using fastening bolts; fixing a fixed frame(12a) of the engine box frame to an external wall using fastening bolts coupled to the anchor bolts buried under the external wall of the opening, and press-fitting a bend formed on the top of a variable frame(12b) to a bend formed on the bottom of the fixed frame; and fixing adhesives such as silicon resins to many gaps formed in the opening.
