본 발명은 모바일 단말에서 터치 스크린 상의 키 패드를 통한 키 입력 방법에 관한 것으로, 하나의 키에 복수 개의 키 값들이 할당된 키 패드에서 하나의 키를 누르면 그 키에 할당된 키 값들이 동일하게 할당된 또 하나의 키인 동적 키가 화면에 표시되고 동적 키를 누르면 현재 표시된 키가 최종적인 입력 값으로 결정 된 후 커서가 다음 위치로 이동하므로 본 발명에 의하면 사용자가 하나의 키에 할당된 문자를 연속하여 타이핑하고자 하는 경우 스페이스 키를 누르거나 커서가 다음 위치로 이동할 때까지 잠시 대기해야 할 필요가 없다.

PURPOSE: A device for synchronizing data of one or more applications and a method thereof are provided to perform application synchronization, thereby performing synchronization for massive application data in a short time. CONSTITUTION: A communication module(100) communicates with a second device. The communication module transmits data to and receives data from the second device. A storage unit(110) stores one or more applications, application data about the applications, and first synchronization information. A control unit(200) includes an application list of a first device when synchronization is requested. The control unit transmits an application list request message, which requests an application list of the second device, to the second device through the communication module. When a response message is received from the second device, the control unit compares the application list of the first device with the application list of the second device and performs the synchronization of the common applications. PURPOSE: A device for exchanging data between a head unit for vehicles and a mobile device and a method thereof are provided to improve user convenience by supplying various information in response to a specific demand of a user. CONSTITUTION: A UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) stack(120) discoveries surrounding control devices. If the control device is discovered, the UPnP stack requests a service list to the control device and receives the service list including provision information about a web application related to a service from the control device. PURPOSE: A method for sharing a memo using a UPnP telephony and a device thereof are provided to share a memo even at the outside as well as in a home network using a mobile communication device. CONSTITUTION: TCP(Telephony Control Point) 2 applies a memo service to a telephony server(310). TCP1 transfers the memo to the telephony server(320). The telephony server notifies a new memo to TCP2(330). The mobile device registers memo deliver in the telephony server to make a user to receive a memo through a mobile device(340). If the mobile device moves to the outside, the telephony server delivers the memo to the mobile device(350,360).

PURPOSE: A system for UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) telephony MMS(Multimedia Message Service) and a method thereof are provided to transmit a MMS message by an optimized MMS input transmission device for writing an MMS message, thereby transmitting the MMS message to a device connected to an external network. CONSTITUTION: A message control point(320) searches and connects a message transmission device(300) for transmitting a message with a message receiving device(310) for transmitting the message to an external network. The message transmitting device generates the message. The message transmitting device transmits the message to the message receiving device. CONSTITUTION: A first RUI-C(Remote User Interface Client) device(110) discovers a RUI-S(Remote User Interface-Server) supporting an remote control interface(200). A first device receives a list of a controllable second device from the server. One of a second device(120) is selected to the list of the second device, the server provides a remote control interface controlling the interface of the selected second RUI-C to the first device. The first device controls the selected second device through the remote control interface.

PURPOSE: A method for providing a user interface and a communication system performing the same are provided to use portable terminals connected with an output terminal when a character input window is displayed on the output terminal, thereby easily inputting characters. CONSTITUTION: An output terminal(100) transmits input window information corresponding to at least one input window on a portable terminal(200). The output terminal displays a user interface screen including the input window. The portable terminal displays at least input window according to the received input window information. The portable terminal transmits input characters on the displayed input window to the output station. The output terminal displays the transmitted characters.

PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling an RUI(Remote User Interface) device are provided to control a corresponding device and the RUI by only using necessary control functions through a specified control UI. CONSTITUTION: An RUIS(Remote User Interface Server)(301) generates only RUI(Remote User Interface) and creates the RUI and the control UI. An RUIC(Remote User Interface Client)(300) configures the control UI through a control UI manager based on the RUI information. A third RUIC(302) remotely controls the RUIC according to an UI(received control UI), and receives the information for receiving the control UI from the searched RUIS and the RUIC. The third RUIC determines the RUIS and the RUIC which are the target for remote control, and the control UI generates a control command of the RUIC.

PURPOSE: A device and a method for transmitting/processing CONTROL UI information using EPG are provided to effectively transmit CUI information which is specialized by contents to service/content provider and reception device. CONSTITUTION: An information generating unit(411) generates EPG information including CONTROL UI information of service/contents. A rendering unit(401) of receiving unit renders the transmitted EPG and service/contents. A control processing unit(400) processes UI information according to the selection of a user. The receiving unit displays CONTROL UI information on a screen according to the selection of a user.
