PURPOSE: A method for periodically supporting multicast communication in a communication system and an apparatus thereof are provided to allocate transmission resource about data in a fixed allocation method. CONSTITUTION: A base station confirms whether fixed resources are allocated for group data of a device communication service group(403,419). The base station configures the fixed resource for the group data. The base station transmits allocation information about the fixed resource to a terminal(407, 421). The base station multicasts the group data to the terminal through the fixed resource(413).

PURPOSE: A cell selection method in wireless communication system and apparatus thereof are provided to select cells by receiving the location information of a terminal in a wireless communication system. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(400) controls a synchronizing signal based on a preamble signal. An RF(Radio Frequency) transmission apparatus(404) transmits a ranging code to a base station. The RF transmission apparatus transmits a ranging request message including the location information of a terminal to the base station. An RF reception apparatus(402) receives a ranging response message including one or more recommendation base stations information from the base station.

PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting error of a MAP message and method thereof in a mobile communications system are provided to perform an error confirmation when a terminal decode MAP message and a false detection occurs. CONSTITUTION: A controller(380) determines a bit number of a ID field about a receiver from a MAP message receiver. The controller adds receiver identifiers to the ID field according to the ID field of bit numbers. A transmission unit completes the MAP message. The transmission unit transmits the completed MAP message to the receiver.

PURPOSE: A device and a method thereof are provided to transmit a SA preamble by using a BCS(Block Cover Sequence). CONSTITUTION: A sequence of a SA preamble is determined according to a frequency band(301). A transmitting terminal confirms the size of FFT, a segment, and the number of antennae which transmit the SA preamble(303). The transmitting terminal confirms the use of a TD(305). The transmitting terminal selects a BCS in order to reduce the PAPR of the SA preamble by considering the number of the antennae(307). The transmitting terminal applies each bit which comprises the BCS to a sub block which comprises the SA preamble(309). The transmitting terminal transmits the SA preamble to a receiving terminal(311).

PURPOSE: An interleaving device in a communication system and a method thereof are provided to perform interleaving to make reliable input bits of decoders, thereby increasing system performance. CONSTITUTION: An interleaver performs each uniform interleaving for A, B, Y1, Y2, W1 and W2 sub blocks(700). According to reliability of bits of A sub block, the interleaver performs the first permutation for bits of B sub block(702). The interleaver performs the second permutation for bits of W1 sub block based on reliability of bits of Y1 sub block(704). The interleaver groups bits for each sub block(706).

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for obtaining synchronization and searching a cell id in a wireless communication system are provided to design a preamble with superior performance while reducing complexity when using an OFDM 1 symbol. CONSTITUTION: Remaining binary time domain preamble sequences except a binary time domain preamble sequence for obtaining synchronization predetermined among binary time domain preamble sequences which can be generated by an IFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) operation about a binary frequency domain preamble sequence using the frequency domain preamble sequence and the binary time domain preamble sequence. The determined remaining binary time domain preamble sequences and the predetermined binary time domain preamble sequences are transmitted to a terminal(303).

A method for transmitting and receiving a signal based on a hybrid automatic repeat request scheme in wireless mobile communication system are provided to maximize the symmetry of up link and down link according to system performance. A method for transmitting and receiving a signal based on a hybrid automatic repeat request scheme in wireless mobile communication system is comprised of the steps: If the number of down link sub frames and number of uplink sub frames are identical or not, the number of the sub frame is determined to have a relation of signal transmission and reception with at least one sub frame; and signal communication is performed through at least one down link frame and up link frame. A signal transmission and reception relation is determined by an equation of u =foor(d/(m/n)).

An apparatus and a method for transmitting a signal in a communication system are provided to transmit a signal efficiently in each of channels based on a channel state sequence information according to each of the channels. An apparatus for transmitting a signal in a communication system includes an information input unit(600), an encoder(610), a mapping unit(620), a distributor(630), a plurality of channels(670-1,670-N), a channel quality information input unit(640), a sequence information input unit(650), a sequence information feedback unit(660). If a signal is inputted through the information input unit, the signal is transmitted through each of channels using the encoder and the mapping unit. A CQI(Channel Quality Indicator) average value of two channels is inputted to the sequence information feedback unit based on the channel quality information and the channel state. The CQI average value is inputted to the encoder. The sequence information is inputted to the distributor. The signal is encoded and modulated based on an MCS(Modulation and Coding Scheme) level corresponding to the CQI average value inputted to the encoder. The signal is transmitted based on the sequence information according to the channel state inputted to the distributor.
