Abstract: PURPOSE: A device of damping vibration and noise of a hard disk drive is provided to install a damper on a base of the hard disk drive, to damp noise and vibration generated from a spindle motor and an actuator, so as to improve vibration characteristics of the hard disk drive. CONSTITUTION: A spindle motor is formed on a base(10). A damper(16) is installed by an adhesive(20), to reduce vibration and noise of the spindle motor and an actuator. The damper is composed of an aluminum plate(22), a damping material(18), and the adhesive(20), to absorb vibration and noise energies.
