Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus for the expansion of PDCCH(Physical Downlink Control Channel)s in a communications system which receives a strengthened control channel including a strengthened PDCCH transmitted from a set of resources blocks and a method thereof are provided to reduce PDCCH overhead by scaling the size according to the necessary resources to transmit a DCI(Downlink Control Information) format during DL(Downlink) TTI(Transmission Time Interval). CONSTITUTION: A NodeB transmits 2bit to UE(User Equipment) through cPHICH, ePHICH or both of the cPHICH and the ePHICH using RRC(Remote Resources Control) signaling which shows the reception of a HARQ-ACK signal(1420). One value is reserved(1410). The UE receives higher layer signaling from the NodeB(1430). Whether the reception of the HARQ-ACK signal is through cHICH, the ePHICH or both of the cPHICH and the ePHICH is determined(1440). PURPOSE: Resource indexing for acknowledgement signals in response to reception of a plurality of allocations is provided to determine resources for HARQ-ACK signal transmission by using an UE(User Equipment). CONSTITUTION: A user equipment receives a plurality of SA(Scheduling Allocation)s transmitted from a base station. Each SA comprises IE(Information Element)s including a transmission power control information element. Each IE has a value expressed in binary elements. The UE uses a TPC(Transmission Power Control) IE value of the SA corresponding to a first DL(Downlink) CC(Component Carrier) among a plurality of DL CCs for controlling transmission power of an acknowledgement signal. The UE uses the TPC IE value of each SA corresponding to the rest DL CCs among the plurality of DL CCs to determine resources for acknowledgement signal transmission. The acknowledgement signal is transmitted.

PURPOSE: A device and method for handling HARQ(Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest) feedback in a wireless communication system are provided to perform HARQ operation without a malfunction by integrating a plurality of forward direction carriers and reverse direction carriers. CONSTITUTION: An HARQ processing method comprises the steps of: analyzing a control message which is transmitted from a base station, and sensing HARQ feedback provision between a forward carrier and a reverse carrier(1105); and deciding which reverse carrier or forward carrier HARQ feedback needs to be transmitted to or received from in response to forward traffic or reverse traffic transmitted to any desired carrier at any desired time(1115); and transmitting a reverse feedback through the reverse carrier(1120).

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting of channel quality indicator and acknowledgement signals in a sc-fdma communication systems are provided to multiplex ACK/NACK data bit at a CQI transmission frame. CONSTITUTION: A signal comprises one or more slots. The slot comprises first and second symbols. A reference signal is transmitted from first symbols. The information bits of a second type are transmitted from second symbols. A transmission method of the information bits of the first type using signal comprises a process of multiplying the first quadrature cover in case of the information bit and first symbols of the first type having the first value. A transmission method comprises a process of multiplying the second orthogonal cover in case of the information bit and first symbols of the first type having the second number. The transmission method comprises a process of transmitting first symbols.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for extending the length of a CRC is provided to improve error detection performance at the reception terminal by using the arbitrary bit of information element transmitted from a down-link or an up-link as the error detection bit. CONSTITUTION: At least one bit(730) which has a predetermined value is transmitted to one or more information elements. The rest of bits(720) which do not have the predetermined value are transmitted to the information element. The information element is a cyclic shift indicator specifying a cyclic shift for the transmission of the reference signal. The information element is the channel quality indicator request specifying the inclusion state of the channel quality indicator. The information element is a physical resource block allocation specifying the physical resource block.
