PURPOSE: A color image panel, and an apparatus and a method for displaying a color image using the same are provided to display shiny and brilliant color. CONSTITUTION: A color image panel includes a variable photonic crystal filter(20) and a white display unit(10,30,40). The variable photonic crystal filter reflects specific wavelength light and absorbs. The white display unit mixes the specific wavelength light with white light to control chroma and brightness. PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a monodispersed particle is provided to easily control the particle size by controlling the content ratio of monomers in the synthesis. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a monodispersed particle comprises: a step of mixing at least two or more monomers in a solvent; a step of putting an initiator into the solvent and synthesizing at least two or more monomers by forming a copolymer-shaped particle; and a step of controlling the particle size by controlling the content ratio of the two or more monomers. The particle size is controlled within the range of 50-200 nm. The particle forms a colloid solution in a solvent. The zeta potential of the particle is (-150) - (-30) mV or +30 - +150 mV.

PURPOSE: A display device which is switchable between a reflective mode and a transmissive mode is provided to enable a display device to reuse light which is reflected by using a color filter. CONSTITUTION: A reflecting plate(150) is arranged in the lower part of a light guide plate(130). An optical shutter is arranged in the top of a color filter layer. An optical shutter blocks light according to an electrical control. The color filter layer includes a transmitting color filter. A transmissive color filter transmits light of specific wavelength band. The transmissive color filter reflects the light of the wavelength band.

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a reflective color filter is provided to reflect light in a desired wavelength by obtaining a light crystalline complex reflecting light in the desired wavelength. CONSTITUTION: Persulfate initiator is applied to and reacted with monomer. The monomer includes acrylate-based or methacrylate-based monomer, aromatic monomer, acrylamide monomer, or the combination of the same. Surface charged colloidal particles are formed. Gaps between the colloidal particles are adjusted to form colloidal crystal. The colloidal particles of the colloidal crystal are solidified to obtain a light crystalline composite(50B, 50G, 50R).
