2차원 비디오 및 3차원 비디오 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 비디오가 부호화된 비디오 데이터를 입력하고, 비디오와 함께 재생하기 위한 자막 데이터와, 자막 데이터를 3차원 자막으로 재생하기 위한 오프셋의 변환 속도에 대한 정보를 포함하는 3차원 자막 변환 정보를 결정하여, 부호화된 비디오 데이터, 자막 데이터 및 3차원 자막 변환 정보를 다중화하여 디지털 방송을 위한 비트스트림을 출력하는 디지털 자막 방송 비트스트림 생성 방법이 개시된다.

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for generating a 3D image data stream, and a method and an apparatus for receiving a 3D image data stream are provided to extract 3D image play information which can be recognized by a 3D play system, thereby guaranteeing 3D effects. CONSTITUTION: A TS(Transport Stream) de-multiplexing unit(210) de-multiplexes a transport stream. A TS packet de-packetizing unit(220) de-packetizes at least one transport stream packet. A basic stream packet de-packetizing unit(230) de-packetizes at least one basic stream packet. A 3D image play information extracting unit(240) extracts 3D image play information from one of the TS packet, the basic stream packet, and a section.

PURPOSE: A stereoscopic video bit stream generation method and a device are provided to efficiently transmit, store and play the stereoscopic video by generating essential header information to various stereoscopic video formats. CONSTITUTION: A 3D reproduction section information recorder(410) records the 3D reproduction section information about a stereoscopic video data among a video data recorded on a payload region of a video bit stream to a header region of the video bit stream. A camera information recorder(430) records a camera information on the header region. A parallax information recorder(450) records the parallax information between a standards viewpoint video and additional viewpoint video to the header region. A video recorder(470) records the video data on the payload region.

CONSTITUTION: A three dimensional digital contents providing method, a receiving method and a device thereof are as follows. A basic stream about first data of second digital contents is generated(210). The basic stream about second data of second digital contents is generated. The basic stream of first data and the second data is packetized(220). The second data is packetized as the header information of the multiplexed stream of the packetized first data(230). The contents information of the second data is produced. The first encoder produces the basic stream toward the first data of two dimension digital contents.

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for encoding a stereoscopic image data stream including scaling information, and a method and an apparatus for the same are provided to restore a more accurate stereoscopic image by using a scaling parameter extracted from a stereoscopic image data stream. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(300) for encoding a stereoscopic image data stream includes an integration image data insertion unit(310), a scaling parameter determining unit(320), and a scaling parameter insertion unit(330). The integration image data insertion unit inserts integration image data into a stereoscopic image data stream. The integration image data includes at least one of a left view point image or a right view point image. The scaling parameter determining unit determines a scaling parameter to organize an integration image. The scaling parameter insertion unit inserts the determined scaling parameter into the stereoscopic image data stream.

An image processing method, an image reproducing method, an apparatus thereof and a recording medium therefor are provided to guarantee the compatibility with an existing video stream by inserting additional information about 3D image data into a flyback section of the 3D image data. A camera information recorder(430) records camera information of the stereoscopic image obtaining camera, and outputs the record to the video recorder. A parallax information recorder(450) records the parallax information between a standard time point image, and an added time point image to the header area, and outputs the record to the video recorder. Start index information identifies the start frame index of a stereoscopic data section. Close index information identifies the close frame index of the stereoscopic data section.

An apparatus and a method for producing stereoscopic image bit are provided to transmit and store the stereoscopic data efficiently using header information. Information of a stereoscopic image is read from an image bit stream header area through the parsing of the image bit stream(410). Camera parameter insertion information which shows whether or not the camera parameter about the camera obtaining is inserted is extracted from the stereoscopic image information(430). Camera arrangement information which shows whether or not the arranging method of camera is the cross over type from stereoscopic image information(450). The stereoscopic image is restored using the stereoscopic image data extracted from the image bit stream(470).
