PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for correcting sports postures are provided, which traces an arbitrary area from a sports posture image. CONSTITUTION: An area setting unit(51) establishes an arbitrary area from a frame. A tracing unit(53) traces the fixed area of each frame. A tracing result computing unit(55) outputs an area trace result into a displayable signal. A tracing area confirming unit defines a part which is most similar to the establishment region as a tracking area according to the result of a computation of a similarity calculating unit.

PURPOSE: A similarity decision method of an image, a recording medium recording the method and a device practicing the method are provided to find a subject of a template image effectively from an image by deciding similarity of an inputted image and a prestored template image. CONSTITUTION: A scanning unit(32a) specifies the first area and the second area successively through scanning of an inputted image. A histogram deriving unit(33a) draws a histogram of the first area. The first operating unit(35a) draws histogram degree difference with a template image about the first area. The second operating unit draws the histogram degree difference with the template image about the second area.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for capturing a digital image according to detecting hand are provided to perform a hand shaking decision in step of live view image step and with a result determine whether or not adopting a hand shaking protection function thereby providing a photographing of an image. CONSTITUTION: A hand shaking decision unit(39-1) decides a hand shaking comparing previous live view image data with present live view image data. A photography control unit(39-2) photographs one piece of image by using an auto exposure by the first control signal. The photography control unit photographs two pieces of images having a different exposure by the second control signal. If the hand shaking is not occurred, a control unit(39-4) outputs the first control signal to the photographing control unit. If the hand shaking is occurred, the control unit outputs the second control signal to the photographing control unit.

PURPOSE: An image processing apparatus, a method for processing an image, and a recording medium storing a program for realizing the method are provided to tune the first edge data, thereby effectively preventing deterioration of image definition due to noise. CONSTITUTION: A noise reducing unit(51) obtains the second image data by applying the first image data to a noise reducing filter. The first edge data obtaining unit(53) obtains lost first edge data. The first combining unit(55) obtains the third image data from the tuned first edge data.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A scene recognition apparatus and a method in a digital image processor are provided to rapidly recognize the scene of the live view image by using the of the face acknowledgement. CONSTITUTION: The digital signal processor(39) detects the face from the live view image. If the face is detected, the live view image is classified into the night view mode, the back-light mode, and the individual mode. If the face is not detected, the live view image is classified into the night view mode, scenery mode, and macro mode and auto exposure mode. The digital signal processor comprises the face recognition part, the first scene recognition part, and the second scene recognition part. The face recognition part(39-1) recognizes the face from the displayed live view image. When the face is detected from the face recognition part, the first scene recognition part(39-2) classifies the live view mode into the night view mode, back-light mode, and individual mode. When the face is not detected from the face recognition part, the second scene recognition part(39-3) classifies the live view mode into the night view mode, scenery mode, macro mode and auto exposure mode.
