Abstract:
Apparatus and a method for transmitting a message in a delay tolerant network are disclosed. The present invention determines the transmission rating of message copies to be transferred in consideration of all of the moving speed, residual energy and directivity index of a node, and transmits message copies corresponding to a determined transmission rating. According to the present invention, by determining the transmission rating of message copies to be transferred in consideration of all of the moving speed, residual energy and directivity index of a node, it is possible to efficiently transfer a message to a reception node and enhance a message transfer probability.

복수의 무선 인터페이스를 가지는 이동단말에서의 연산 처리 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 파라미터 추정부 이동 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 복수의 무선 인터페이스를 통해 원격지 서버와 연결된 이동단말에서 발생한 수행 대상 작업의 처리와 관련된 파라미터 값을 추정한다. 에너지 산출부는 추정된 파라미터 값을 기초로 이동단말에서 수행 대상 작업을 직접 처리하는 경우 및 원격지 서버에서 오프로딩에 의해 수행 대상 작업을 처리하는 경우의 이동단말의 에너지 소비량을 복수의 무선 인터페이스 각각에 대하여 산출한다. 동작 방식 결정부는 산출된 에너지 소비량들을 대비하여 수행 대상 작업을 처리하기 위한 이동단말의 동작 방식을 결정한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 이동단말의 에너지 소비를 최소화하기 위한 작업 처리 방식을 결정함에 있어서 이동단말의 에너지 소비량을 복수의 인터페이스 각각에 대하여 예측함으로써 효율적으로 오프로딩 여부 및 적절한 무선 인터페이스의 종류를 결정할 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A node device, a message transmission method, and a program recording medium thereof are provided to reduce battery power consumption in each node comprising delay-allowable networks by periodically converting a normal state into a sleep state. CONSTITUTION: A calculation unit(120) calculates activity levels defined by a combination between a calculated energy ratio and a message ratio based on the number of residual messages. When the activity level is higher than a predetermined value, a section setting unit(130) sets an activation section in the transmission section of one period. When the activity level is lower than the predetermined value, the section setting unit sets the activation section in the transmission section of the period. PURPOSE: A paging system using personal mobility management information and a method thereof are provided to perform paging about a cell where a registered terminal is located. CONSTITUTION: A VLR(Visitor Location Register)(220) receives geographic location information of a fixed terminal from an HLR(Home Location Register)(210). The VLR determines first cells including the geographic location information. An MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(230) performs a first paging procedure about a mobile terminal. The MSC performs a second paging procedure about the second cell in case the mobile terminal is not detected in the first cell.

PURPOSE: A message transmission apparatus in a delay permission network and method thereof are provided to extend the transmission range of a message by transmitting the copy of the message to a transmission node considering of a moving speed and direction. CONSTITUTION: An information acquisition unit(120) receives a first moving vector which displays the moving direction and a current moving speed of the transmission node from a transmission node. A control unit(130) determines the transmission rate of a transmission target message copy in the copy created from the stored message based on an angle between the first moving vector and a second moving vector which displays the current moving speed and direction of the transmission node. A transmission unit(140) transmits the message copy to the transmission node.

PURPOSE: A method for adaptive broadcast in a vehicle AD Hoc network is provided to select a RBRS(Distance-Based Relay Selection) method or DBRS(Range-Based Relay Selection) method by the variable vehicle density. CONSTITUTION: Each vehicle predicts density based on location information of the other vehicles included in the received emergency warning message. Each vehicles selects the broadcast type(S110). A vehicle which finds an emergency situation broadcasts an emergency warning message by the selected broadcast method(S120). A vehicle which receives the emergency warning message broadcasts the message based on the set broadcast method(S130).

A hand-off method and a node device which is possible for hand-off in mobile network are provided to select a path with a gateway router with optimum performance by using various metrics for satisfying the QoS property of a communications service. Advertisement messages(410,412) includes QoS metric information and a route. A gateway router is selected by the information of the delivered advertisement message. The path included in advertisement messages includes path information about all mobile nodes transferred from the gateway router. An advertisement message transfer broadcasts the advertisement message.
