Abstract: PURPOSE: A public information guide system is provided to receive information conveniently through a conversation with a guider by using an information terminal connected through the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A processor(101) detects a signal generated when a user picks up a telephone(107), and controls a video chatting mode by connecting to a center terminal(20) through the Internet. A data communication interface(103) communicates the data with the external by using an Internet protocol. A monitor(104) displays a menu screen, a video screen, and the operation state data. A video camera(105) pictures a video screen of the user, converts and outputs the pictured data. The telephone(107) generates the signal for operating an information terminal(10), and transmits and receives voice. A device interface(108) communicates the data with the telephone and the processor. A printer(111) prints out the data.
