Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and method for providing a font, and a device and method for managing the font are provided to utilize a glyph extracted from a user input, thereby easily providing and managing the font for a text. CONSTITUTION: A device for providing a font includes a font generating part (100), a font loading part (200), and a font list providing part (300). The font generating part receives a user input for generating a user-defined font, and generates a font image through a user input-based image treatment. The font loading part loads a font list related to the font image from an external device. The font list providing part provides the font list and data in the font list.
