    Abstract: An environmental pollution valuation method using insect immune physiological markers is provided to secure high reliability of qualitative analysis and a significant quantitative analysis correlation, to qualitatively and quantitatively detect the exposure of environmental pollutants like heavy metals, PCB(Polychlorinated biphenyls), and dioxins, and to analyze the influence of the pollutants on bioindicators and an ecosystem. The environmental pollution valuation method using insect immune physiological markers detects the environmental pollution caused due to PBTs(Persistent, Bioaccumulative, Toxic) by using at least one insect immune reaction selected from blood cell sacculation, activation of phenoloxidase, activation of phospholipase A2, and apoptosis as an environmental pollution bioindicator. The PBTs include a heavy metal, dioxin, and PCB. A larva of spodoptera exigua is used as the test insect.
