PURPOSE: A polynucleotide for predicting atrial fibrillation is provided to polynucleotide or the corresponding polynuclueotide including single-nucleotide polymorphism related to structure remodeling of left atrium. CONSTITUTION: A polynucleotide for predicting atrial fibrillation is composed of 10-50 continuous DNA sequences which include 27th base (polymorphic site) among the polynucleotides of the sequence number 4(SEQ ID NO:4). The sequence number 4 is the allelotype of 27th base (polymorphic site) A / T. The DNA microarray chip for predicting atrial fibrillation is polynucleotide for predicting atrial fibrillation or the corresponding polynucleotide. A kit for predicting atrial fibrillation includes polynucleotide for predicting atrial fibrillation or the corresponding polynucleotide. A prediction method of atrial fibrillation comprises the following steps: analyzing 10-50 continuous DNA sequences which include 27th base (polymorphic site) among the polynucleotides of the sequence number 4(SEQ ID NO:4) or the corresponding sequence from a recording media which can be read by computer; and classifying patients into a group which has potential to be electric anatomical remodeling of atrium if the 27th base of the gene sequence is A.

Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for estimating prognosis of auricular fibrillation is provided to prevent the state of a patient to be progressed to chronic auricular fibrillation by early inspecting the patient through a noninvasive method. CONSTITUTION: The concentration in the blood of TIMP-1 of a patient is measured. The concentration in the blood of TGF-β of the patient is measured. An estimated left atrium voltage of the patient is calculated based on the concentrations in the blood of the TIMP-1 and the TGF-β of the patient. At least, one of the concentrations in the blood of the TIMP-1 and the TGF-β of the patient is compared with the concentrations in the blood of a normal person.

본 발명은 심방세동의 재발에 영향을 미치는 좌심방의 구조적 리모델링과 관련한 유전자의 단일염기다형(Single-Nucleotide Polymorphism; SNP)을 포함하는 폴리뉴클레오티드 또는 그의 상보적 폴리뉴클레오티드를 제공한다. 상기 폴리뉴클레오티드 또는 그의 상보적 폴리뉴클레오티드는 심방세동의 예후의 예측 인자로서 사용될 수 있으므로, 본 발명에 의하면, 좌심방의 구조적 리모델링이 일어나기 쉬운 환자를 조기에 탐지함으로써 이들 환자가 만성 영속성 심방세동으로 진전하는 것을 예방함으로써 임상적 결과를 개선할 수 있다.

CONSTITUTION: A polynucleotide for predicting a prognosis for atrial fibrillation contains 10-50 serial DNA sequences containing a 27th base(SNP site) polynucleotide selected from sequence numbers 1-4. The allele types of the 27th base(SNP site) of sequence numbers 1-4 are C/T, C/T, C/T, and A/T, respectively. A DNA microarray chip for predicting the prognosis for atrial fibrillation contains the polynucleotide or a complementary polynucleotide thereof.
