Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing the zirconium alloy composition is provided to obtain very excellent corrosion-resistance by composing Nb, Cu, O, and Zr. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of: melting metal having a composition of Nb, Cu, O, and Zr; performing a beta-heat process for ten to thirty minutes at temperatures of 1000 to 1100°C; carrying out the hot rolling with a rolling pressure of 50 to 80% after preheating for 10 to 30 minutes at temperatures of 670 to 690°C; performing the heat-processing for one to three hours at temperatures of 670 to 690°C; performing a first cold rolling at a rolling pressure of 40 to 60%; and carrying out the beta-heat process for 10 to 30 minutes at temperatures of 1000 to 1100°C.
