Abstract: A white light-emitting organic electroluminescent element for a backlight and a liquid crystal display device using the same. The white light-emitting organic electroluminescent element is useful for a backlight, in which two or three color light-emitting layers are laminated in the form of a thin film, and the liquid crystal display device reproduces natural color tones, resulting from formation of the element at the rear of a liquid crystal display panel. The white light-emitting organic electroluminescent element comprises an anode; a hole injecting layer; a hole transporting layer; an organic electroluminescent layer consisting of two or three color light-emitting layers and one or more controlling layers, the controlling layer being made of a blocking material for controlling the stream of electrons between the light-emitting layers; an electron transporting layer; and a cathode. The white light-emitting organic electroluminescent element prepared according to the present invention can be used instead of a conventional backlight, and in particular, can be applied to a liquid crystal display device for more distinct natural color reproduction.

The base film(20) supply roller(12) installed with intervals inside the chamber(2) supplies rolled base film(20). The base film(20) receiving roller(14) receives the base film(20) by rolling. A pair of mask rollers are composed of a mask supply roller(16) and a mask receiving roller(18). The mask supply roller(16) installed to the lower part of the base film(20) supply roller(12) inside the chamber(2) supplies rolled mask(22). The mask receiving roller(18) installed to the lower part of the base film(20) receiving roller(14) inside the chamber(2) receives mask by rolling. A contact fixer fixes the base film(20) and rolled mask(22) which move by the rotation of the base film(20) supply roller(12) and the mask supply roller(16) to the base film(20) receiving roller(14) and the mask receiving roller(18). A heating device sublimes organism by heating. A shutter opens and closes the aperture of the heating device.
