    Abstract: A geogrid connecting structure of a retaining wall is provided to construct a retaining wall conveniently, economically and stably by bolting a vertical member and a horizontal member at the backside of a retaining wall and coupling geogrid to the horizontal member, and bolting fixing plates and stiffening plates to the geogrid. A geogrid connecting structure of a retaining wall is formed by bolting a horizontal member(2) having a C-shaped cross section between a vertical member(1) and a vertical member, and fastening geogrid(3) to the horizontal member, wherein a first fixing plate(4) and a second fixing plate(4') provided with many long holes(41,41') are installed on the upper and lower parts of the geogrid to fasten bolts to three long holes formed in the middle of the first fixing plate, the geogrid, and three long holes formed in the middle of the second fixing plate, and a first stiffening plate(5) provided with a first fastening hole(51) and a second fastening hole(52) and a second stiffening plate(5') provided with a first fastening hole(51') and a second fastening hole(52') are attached on two ends of the first fixing plate and the second fixing plate in an orthogonal direction to fasten bolts to the first fastening hole of the first stiffening plate, the long hole of the first fixing plate, the geogrid, the long hole of the second fixing plate and the first fastening hole of the second stiffening plate, thereby to heighten the fastening strength of the geogrid, and the horizontal member is formed in a C-shaped cross section to be higher than the geogrid bolted with the first stiffening plate, the first fixing plate, the second fixing plate and the second stiffening plate and provided with a first coupling hole(211) and a second coupling hole(221) on an upper side(21) and a lower side(22) to make one end of the geogrid bolted with the first stiffening plate, the first fixing plate, the second fixing plate and the second stiffening plate to the inside of the horizontal member inserted to the inside of the horizontal member and fastened to the first coupling hole of the upper side of the horizontal member, the second fastening hole of the first stiffening plate, the second fastening hole of the second stiffening plate and the second coupling hole of the lower side, thereby to make the geogrid move freely in the horizontal member not to be damaged when pressing a roller for soil filling work.
