    Abstract: PURPOSE: A 3D image display device and an operating method thereof are provided to minimize a brightness change of image information and crosstalk between adjacent view intervals when a horizontal location of an observer is changed. CONSTITUTION: An image display panel(210) includes a plurality of pixels. A backlight panel(211) is separated from one side of the image display panel. The backlight panel includes a plurality of linear light sources(30,50). The light linear light sources are separated at a predetermined interval. The width of each linear light source is under of 30% of the pitch of the pixel.
