PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for verifying function of an ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) through an Ethernet connection between a mobile terminal and a base station are provided to solve a problem like signal attenuation or, etc. generating at a wireless section and verify effectively the function of the ATM. CONSTITUTION: A base station(220) and a mobile terminal(200) are connected to an Ethernet(230). A terminal Ethernet converter(201) is possessed to the inside of the mobile terminal(200) and a base station Ethernet converter(221) to the inside of the base station(220), respectively. MAC(Media Access Control)(202,222) are included to lower layers of the mobile terminal(200) and the base station(220). A module for processing data interface between the mobile terminal(200) and the Ethernet(230) is defined as the terminal Ethernet converter(201). A module for processing data interface between the base station(220) and the Ethernet(230) is defined as the base station Ethernet converter(221).

PURPOSE: A communication channel activation device and a method thereof are provided to use a CSTDMA(Carrier Sense Time division multiple access) which is different from a TDMA frame in a coast communication system by executing a call processing procedure. CONSTITUTION: A frame synchronization unit(10) synchronizes frames based on information received from a coast radio station in a predetermined first time section. A registration request unit(120) requests registration based on system information received from the coast radio station. When a response message for the request is received, a response message analysis unit(130) analyzes the response message. A communication channel activation unit(140) activates a communication channel for the data communication with the coast radio station in each second section. PURPOSE: A based station reception apparatus of multiple antenna communication system and uplink adaptation method thereof are provided to control transmission capacities of a terminal according to a channel state by calculating an SINR(Signal-to-Interference and Noise Ratio). CONSTITUTION: One or more reception antennas receives an SRS(Sounding Reference Signal) from a terminal. A fast Fourier transform units(321-324) processes a reception signal of the reception antenna. An SRS processing unit(326) calculates an SINR for each transmission symbols received from the SRS transmitted from the fast Fourier transform units. The SRS processing unit selects the pre-coding matrix of the terminal.

PURPOSE: A decoder and a decoding method using orthogonal space-time block codes are provided to prevent the degradation of performance by combining channel state information in the transmitting period of block codes. CONSTITUTION: A periodic preamble code eliminating part(210) eliminates a periodic preamble code from a received signal. An inverse discrete Fourier converting part(220) applies an inverse discrete Fourier conversion to a signal without the periodic preamble code. A protective band eliminating part(230) generates a complex matrix by eliminating the protective band from the inverse discrete Fourier converted signal. A channel estimating part(250) provides channel state information with respect to a transmitting and receiving antenna and carrier corresponding to the complex matrix.

PURPOSE: A downlink physical channel allocation and detecting method is provided to control allocation of a downlink physical channel according to wireless channel status and downlink transmission mode. CONSTITUTION: A terminal checks a probability unable to detect a downlink control channel and a retransmission probability. A base station decides a code rate according to the checked result(S220). The base station selects an usable downlink control channel by using an identifier of a terminal and the decided code rate(S230). The base station transmits after mapping channel assignment information to the selected downlink control channel(S260). The base station transmits downlink data according to the channel assignment information(S270).

A terminal modem control device and a method thereof are provided to optimize the control time of a terminal modem by being operated according to a designed interrupt in consideration of the operation timing of the mobile modem. A control channel receiving controller(212) stores control information of a downlink control channel in the first control buffer. A data channel receiving controller(213) delivers the control information stored in the first control buffer to an upper layer. A discrete Fourier transform apparatus and a method therefor are provided to reduce delay time due to discrete Fourier transform through the same operation modules, thereby improving performance of a mobile communication system. A storage unit(100) stores factors included in an input sequence. An operation unit(200) generates symbols corresponding to each factor. A controller(300) controls input and output of 24 buffers by generating address information about the 24 buffers. The controller controls the first operation unit(210) and the second operation unit(230) based on the address information.
