Abstract: PURPOSE: A skin color based sensibility makeup recommendation system and method thereof are provided to embody realistic makeup simulations by embody realistic color in virtual space through cosmetics analysis information. CONSTITUTION: An avatar creation unit(152) creates avatar images by using skin information related to the body of a user. A cosmetic information processing unit(154) creates analysis information by analyzing plural cosmetics. The cosmetic information processing unit stores the analysis information in a database(166). A simulation unit(156) displays makeup simulation results based on the skin information and analysis information for random cosmetics selected by the user.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for providing display information for color calibration of a display device are provided to maintain consistent color quality by performing color calibration for a display device using digital image content. CONSTITUTION: In a fixed display device(100), an input unit(102) is a key input unit which can be formed on the front panel of the fixed display device or on a remote control. The input unit can provide a key input environment in which a user can input a preheating signal, color temperature information, brightness information, contrast information, and the like for stabilization of the fixed display device. A preprocessing unit(104) serves to generate a color patch for brightness adjustment and/or a color patch for contrast adjustment by preprocessing input information input by the input unit and to provide the generated color patch for brightness adjustment and/or color patch for contrast adjustment to the color patch display unit or the storage unit 108 to be described later. The color patch display unit serves to display and output the color patch for brightness adjustment or the color patch for contrast adjustment which is preprocessed by the preprocessing unit.
