Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a system for turning heterogeneous devices into web resources. The system for turning heterogeneous devices into web resources according to one embodiment of the present invention includes the following modules: a web adaptation module which receives a device-related function request through a web interface, performs adaptation for the device-related function request, and determines a device corresponding to the function request; and a sub-network resource management module which searches for information about the device determined by the web adaptation module, performs a requested function through a unique interface of the determined device, receives a result about the requested function from the device, and performs adaptation for the result to be suitable for the web interface. Abstract: PURPOSE: An application providing method and an execution device are provided to extract application information corresponding to a keyword from a database and supply the application information to a terminal, thereby performing an application search suitable for a demand of a user. Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and method for editing a numerical formula symbol using a wire/wireless Internet is provided to apply a browsing function for inputting and editing various kinds of numerical formula symbols to a client using a wire/wireless Internet to an ultramodern system(education system, medical instruments) which needs a numerical formula. An edition module(14) inputs and edits the numerical formula symbol document and browses various kinds of numerical formula symbol documents edited through the browser module(12). A document converting and formatting module(16) exchanges various kinds of numerical formula symbol characters between the transmission client(10) and the receipt client interactively, and converts styles of various kinds of numerical formula symbol characters into an XML(eXtensible Markup Language) standard formatting. A communication module(18) executes a communication control using a protocol based on a TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) and a protocol based on a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) for a communication between the transmission client(10)/receipt client and the numerical formula symbol editing system.
