Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for associating a public wireless LAN service is provided to inform a terminal of the number of terminals currently connected to an AP(Access Point) and an amount of traffic by using a beacon frame or a probe response message frame, so that the terminal can select the most favorable AP to associate the AP. CONSTITUTION: An AP sets the number of terminals connected to a beacon frame and a probe response message frame of a wireless LAN MAC layer(301). The AP sets an amount of traffic in the beacon frame and the probe response message frame(302). A broadcasting beacon frame containing set MAC information and the probe response message frame are transmitted to a terminal(303). The terminal selects the most effective AP in terms of performance(304).

PURPOSE: A local information providing method for a wireless LAN user accessing an Internet network through an intelligent wireless LAN AP(Access Point) is provided to allow a user to get local information anytime in any place by simply clicking a supplementary function. CONSTITUTION: In a connected state(318), when a user requests a network state function(322), a current wireless LAN network connection state is displayed on a monitor(323) and returns to the connected state(318). IN the connected state(318), when the user requests local information(324), an AP access program sends the corresponding local information request to a local information server(325). The AP access program receives corresponding local information from the local information server(326) and displays it on the monitor of the user(327).

PURPOSE: A device and method for a small amount payment accounting through an interlock with an advanced information communication processing system is provided to prevent an outflow of credit information by executing a small amount payment using a telephone network and to enable a seller to reduce an additional cost by withdrawing a commodity price through a communication network businessman. CONSTITUTION: A small amount payment service is supplied through an interlock with an AICPS(Advanced Information Communication Processing System) in an environment for supplying an electronic payment service. An AICPS telephone micro billing broker(23) is mounted in the AICPS, processes commodity data of a subscriber of a telephone network or an ISDN(Integrated Service Digital Network), and charges a server function in a small amount payment accounting. An AICPS telephone micro billing agent(25) is mounted in a server of an information provider based on a shopping mall(24) and operated, connects to the subscriber, requests to process a purchase data to the AICPS telephone micro billing broker(23), and charges a client function in the small amount payment accounting. The AICPS telephone micro billing broker(23) is connected to a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) through a modem of the subscriber and recognizes a telephone number of the subscriber.

Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for servicing a virtual number using a remote Internet connection device is provided to enable a subscriber to dial to a directly set virtual number and perform a telephone call by connecting a speech path by extracting an actual called number corresponded to a virtual number and performing a direct call connection call(Dial-Out) to a corresponding number using a subscriber database constructed in a remote Internet connection device. CONSTITUTION: If a subscriber of a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) dials a virtual number identification code, a calling station performs a routing by a remote Internet connection device and sets a channel between a subscriber and a remote Internet connection device(601). The remote Internet connection device receives a virtual number(602) through a set channel and analyzes an inputted number(603). If the analyzed number is local call(604), a calling remote Internet connection matching device performs a number translation to an actual called number corresponded to the virtual number through one's database(605), and transmits the translation result to an H.323 protocol processing unit for calling a call to a called station directly(606). The calling remote Internet connection matching device opens a media channel using an H.245 control signaling and transmits/receives voice information of a calling side and a called side(607).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A state managing method of a network interfacing apparatus using a routing table in an advanced information communication processing system plus(AICPS+) is provided to detect and manage a failure by changing a routing table state between NASs so that an operator can recognize the failure in a pertinent network interfacing apparatus when it happens while the AICPS+ is being operated. CONSTITUTION: When a specific NAS is added or deleted by a LOMS operator, an initialization is performed to add or delete the NAS(S401). When a system is initiated or a content of a routing table is changed, an ONAS transmits the routing table to the LOMS(S402). The LOMS determines whether there is information on the NASs in the routing table(S403,404). If there is no information on the registered NASs in the routing table, the corresponding NAS is changed to a failure state(S409). If there is information on the registered NASs in the routing table(S404), a state report is requested from a corresponding NAS, a state data is received and changed to a normal state, and the correct current state of the NAS is reflected(S405-407).

PURPOSE: A method for providing a built-in type web information shop service is provided to enhance a performance of a system and to reduce a system constructing cost by integrating a web information shop service system of a server structure to an Internet matching device. CONSTITUTION: A task for processing an actual web information shop service is created(700). The number of the task is the number of multiplying of the number of users by six. One task charges one user's demand. If a user's demand is entered, a task having a prior occupation of the user's demand is performed(702). The performed task processes a replacing certification and a replacing charge necessary to web information shop service(704) and transmits user's demand of a charged information provider. The task receives a response with respect to the user's demand from the charged information provider(706), and transmits the response to the user(708).

PURPOSE: A method for setting up a path using broadcasting between a network interface units in information communication processing system with very large capacity is provided to perform efficiently a path setup between new networks. CONSTITUTION: A method for setting up a path using broadcasting between a network interface units in information communication processing system with very large capacity comprises the following steps. A process drive board is initialized. An assigned routing table is searched and Data are transmitted to a high-speed switch by using an assigned channel. A connection permission signal is determined by reading data received from the high-speed switch. A success response is returned according to the determined result.
