Abstract: Disclosed is a remote power management system for hosts of a cluster system, wherein power management proxy servers capable of dynamic connections are provided between a management server to determine power management and the hosts managed thereby in the cluster system including a multiple core server such that the proxy servers cannot be overloaded, thereby enabling real-time monitoring and performing power management setting control over each host. The disclosed remote power management system includes: a plurality of power management hosts which becomes power management targets, monitors and outputs its own power condition and its own system state, and controls its own power condition, based on inputted power control signals; a plurality of power management proxy servers which groups and manages the power management hosts, and performs power condition monitoring of the grouped power management hosts; and a power management master server which stores a power management policy of the power management hosts, and controls the power of the power management hosts by the power management policy, based on the monitoring information from the power management proxy servers.
