Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a device for evaluating production qualities of stereoscopic images based on images of both eyes. Abstract: A multi-view video scalable coding and decoding methods, and apparatuses thereof are provided to offer various video services to terminals of various environments through intra-estimation in other resolutions of peripheral videos. A multi-view video scalable coding apparatus comprises a base scalability video encoder(21) and plural enlarged scalability video encoders(22-25). The base scalability video encoder divides one base video into multi-layer resolutions through spatial filtering, and performs a scalable video coding for the divided low resolution image frames and at least one high resolution image frame through space time estimation. The plural enlarged scalability video encoders receive and divide self video and at least one other video at the same time into multi-layer resolutions through the spatial filtering.
