Abstract: PURPOSE: A dish rest having variable width is provided to smoothly wash dishes and to discharge water from the dishes by installing fixed and movable rests supporting the dishes. CONSTITUTION: A dish rest having variable width is composed of a movable rest(1) supporting dishes, a slider(2) forcibly fit into both ends of the movable rest, fixing plates(5,7) fit into both ends of guides(3) and attached to the inside of horizontal supporters(9) to support the guides, a fixed rest(11) supporting the dishes, and a plurality of vertical supporters(10). The slider is fit into the guides, and moves the movable rest forward and backward.
