Abstract: A cable management system is provided including a mounting fixture for holding telecommunications equipment, and a ribcage cable support member along a vertical side of the mounting fixture. The ribcage cable support member includes a plurality of forwardly and rearwardly extending ribs. The ribs each include cable retention tabs. A plurality of spools are provided for cable storage on the ribcage cable support member. Holes through the ribcage cable support member allow access between the front and rear portions. An additional mounting fixture may be positioned on an opposite side of the ribcage cable support member to the first mounting fixture, and two columns of ribs are provided.

The wire termination blocks are electrically connected to the connector jacks. Each connector module is rotatable about a rotation axis relative to the frame member. A lock selectively locks each connector module to the frame member as desired. The connector jacks and the connector modules are arranged in linear arrays perpendicular to the axis of rotation.

Abstract: Un sistema para la gestión de cables, que comprende: a) un dispositivo de montaje que incluye una base (26) y dos soportes laterales (30, 32) que se extienden hacia arriba, configurados y dispuestos para retener equipos de telecomunicaciones con puntos para conexión de cables, teniendo además el dispositivo de montaje un frente, una parte trasera y un lado, y b) un miembro (60) de costillar de soporte de cables montado en el dispositivo de montaje y situado en posición a lo largo del lado, incluyendo el miembro (60) de costillar de soporte de cables: 1) un soporte medio (62) que tiene un frente, una parte trasera y dos lados, incluyendo el soporte medio: A) una pluralidad de carretes (70) posicionados en el frente, en el que cada carrete (70) incluye un soporte que se extiende desde el frente y una pestaña (78) de retención de cable separada del frente; y B) una pluralidad de orificios (82) entre el frente y la parte trasera; y 2) dos columnas de costillas separadas (110, 112) a cada lado,incluyendo cada columna de costillas un primer grupo de costillas (116) que se extienden transversalmente desde el soporte medio en el frente, y un segundo grupo de costillas (118) que se extienden transversalmente desde el soporte medio en la parte trasera, incluyendo cada costilla una lengüeta (124) de retención de cable, extendiéndose cada lengüeta de retención de cable, en general, hacia las costillas del grupo correspondiente de la otra columna, en el que cámaras primera y segunda de posicionamiento de cables, a lados opuestos del soporte medio, están definidas por el soporte medio y las dos columnas de costillas separadas (110, 112), en el que las lengüetas de retención de cable de uno de los primeros grupos de costillas (116) están separadas de las lengüetas de retención de cable (124) del otro de los primeros grupos de costillas (116) para definir un espacio vertical, extendiéndose el espacio vertical hacia atrás, hacia el frente del soporte medio, en el que el soporte y la pestaña(78) de retención de cable de los carretes (70) están posicionados, solamente, en el espacio vertical.
