Abstract:
A process for the preparation of high purity propylene polymers carried out in the presence of a catalyst comprising the product obtained by contacting: (a) a solid catalyst component comprising Mg, Ti and at least a first internal electron donor compound (HD) selected among the succinates and a second internal electron donor compound (2ID) selected among the 1,3-diethers, wherein the molar ratio of first internal donor over second internal donor 1ID:2ID is comprised between 4:6 and 9:1, with (b) an organo-aluminium compound, and optionally with (c) an external electron donor compound, said process being carried out at a temperature equal or higher than 78° C. and by employing a molar ratio of organo-aluminum compound over solid catalyst component (b):(a) of lower than 5.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a porous solid adduct comprising magnesium chloride and ethanol, characterized by a relationship between the content of alcohol, average pore radius and amount of porosity deriving from pores with radii of 100-1000 nm, and catalyst components produced therefrom that are capable of producing polyolefins with increased porosity.
Abstract:
Films or sheets of polypropylene, particularly biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films, exhibiting excellent physical and mechanical properties combined with good processing characteristics can be prepared from propylene polymers prepared in the presence of Ziegler-Natta catalysts comprising a succinate and a diether compound.
Abstract:
Adducts comprising a MgC1 2, an alcohol ROH in which R is a C1 -C1O hydrocarbon group, present in a molar ratio with MgC1 2 ranging from 0.5 to 5 and less than 15% wt, based on the total weight of the adduct, of a metal salt of an aliphatic carboxylic acid having from 8 to 22 carbon atoms.
Abstract:
Solid adducts comprising MgCl 2 and water and optionally an organic hydroxy compound (A) selected from hydrocarbon structures containing at least one hydroxy group, said compounds being present in molar ratio defined by the following formula MgCl 2 •(H 2 0) n (A) p in which n is from 0.6 to 6, p ranges from 0 to 3, said adduct having a porosity (P F ), measured by the mercury method and due to pores with radius equal to or lower than 1μm, of at least 0.15 cm 3 /g with the proviso that when p is 0, (P F ) is equal to or higher than 0.3 cm 3 /g.
Abstract:
A solid catalyst component for polymerizing at least one olefin comprising Mg, Ti, at least one halogen, and at least one electron donor selected from arylsulfonates and arylsulfonyl derivatives of a specified formula. The solid catalyst component is able to give in high yields polyolefins with high stereoregularity.
