Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which has an image pickup function and an image recording function and in which power consumption is made small as much as possible. SOLUTION: An image recording device provided with a camera part A100, a printer part B100 and a power source part 250 has a power control means 252 controlling the power source part. The power control part is controlled from the camera part and power from the power source part to the printer part is controlled so that it is supplied only when the printer part prints an image picked up by the camera part. The state detection means of the printer part is disposed and the presence or absence of the installation of a consumed part storing container on the printer part is detected. When the consumable part storing container is not installed, power is not supplied from the power source part to the printer part.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an economical printer capable of preventing the wasteful consumption of an ink ribbon by providing a structure capable of printing usual characters at once over a plurality of lines and making it possible to load the mechanism loaded with the printing medium of the printer even with other printing medium. CONSTITUTION:In a printer using an ink ribbon, a structure capable of printing usual characters at once over a plurality of lines is provided and an adaptor equipped with a protruding part 5a for pressing a cassette and a hole 5b permitting a ribbon taking-up shaft to pass is prepared for the mechanism loaded with the printing medium of the printer to enable even the loading with other printing medium. That is, since it becomes possible to mount even a conventional ink ribbon cassette for a single line, the wasteful consumption of the ink ribbon can be suppressed in such a case that the space between lines of a compsn. is wide by using the adaptor.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily set printing evironments (or printing conditions) in a printing device at all times from an external host or the like and also to omit the inputting operation of the printing environments at the external device. Further, when an environment outputting mode is selected, the data of read environment set values added with the predetermined discriminating command are outputted outside.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To write desired data in only a desired bit by once data writing access by writing data in a register to which an optional bit number is assigned by decoding set data outputted in accordance with a set address. Data writing means 1F to 1H write desired data in the register of the specified bit number to complete data writing access to the optional bit. As a bit can selectively be set to zero or one among plural bits by once access, a data writing processing speed can drastically be improved as compared with access which writes data by twice access and once calculation processing as usual.
