Abstract:
An aqueous composition includes: (a) surfactants comprising a salt of a C 1O-16 alcohol ethoxylate sulfate, a betaine surfactant, and an alkyl polyglucoside, wherein the salt of the C 1O-16 alcohol ethoxylate sulfate is present in a quantity that is greater than any other surfactant; (b) at least 15 weight % of the composition of a C 12-18 fatty acid. A cleansing method includes applying the composition to skin or hair and washing, and optionally rinsing with water.

A composition that h gelled with a high level of fatty acid. A composition comprising at least one active chosen from an antiperspirant active e and a deodorant active: a fatty acid in an amount of greater than 7 weight%; and a plant oil in an amount of at least 12 weight%. A composition comprising greater than 7 weight% of a fatty acid; and at least 12 weight% of a plant oil, wherein the composition does not contain an antiperspirant active or a deodorant active.

A liquid cleansing composition comprising a cleansing effective amount of surfactant and an alkoxylated alkyl ether having 5 to 20 alkoxy moieties and a C 3 to C 12 alkyl. The alkoxylated alkyl ether can be PPG-14 butyl ether. The alkoxylated alkyl ether can reduce stringiness of the cleansing composition, increase fragrance bloom from the cleansing composition, increase oil solubilization, increase foam volume of the cleansing composition, or reduce dry skin.
Abstract:
An aerosol antiperspirant/deodorant comprising: (a) a solvent system for the gellant in an amount of up to 36% of the total formula; (b) from 0.1 - 1.5% by weight based on the total weight of the composition of at least one siliconized polyamide as a gellant; (c) an antiperspirant active used in an amount to have a deodorant and/or antiperspirant effect; and (d) a propellant gas.
