    Abstract: Techniques for peer-to-peer (P2P) transmission in a multi-user (MU) multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) environment. A first wireless station (STA), including a plurality of radio antennas, identifies channel state information (CSI) relating to a connection between the first STA and a wireless access point (AP). The first STA determines connection information relating to a MU MIMO P2P connection between the first STA and a second STA. The first STA generates a plurality of values relating to precoding for the plurality of radio antennas, based on the CSI and the connection information. The first STA and the second STA exchange data over the P2P connection, using the plurality of values relating to precoding.

    Abstract: Management of radio resources of a wireless network according to a Flexible Radio Assignment (FRA) mode may be provided. For each Access Point (AP) of the wireless network: a type of AP may be identified including determining whether each AP has Multi-Link (ML) capability, and when the FRA mode is for performance, a bias may be applied to each ML capable AP to reduce a likelihood of a radio of each ML capable AP being identified as a redundant radio. For each Client Device (CD) of the wireless network, an identification of whether each CD has ML capability may be made, and a radio configuration of at least one ML capable AP may be tailored to support one or more ML capable CDs.

    Abstract: Application-based Transmission Opportunity (TXOP) sharing may be provided. First, a sharing AP may receive a request to share TXOPs with a requesting AP. The request may include information associated with an application executing on a client serviced by the requesting AP. Next, a TXOP duration for the requesting AP may be reserved based on the information associated with the application such that, in response to winning contention on the medium, the sharing AP may share a TXOP with the requesting AP for the TXOP duration.

    Abstract: Aspects described herein include an exclusionary approach for basic service set (BSS) color selection and assignment in a network. A network controller for a network selects a radio associated with an access point (AP) under management of the network controller and determines a potential set of BSS colors for the radio. The network controller then removes/excludes a set of BSS colors that impacts the radio from the potential set of BSS colors and updates or assigns a BSS color for the selected radio using the potential set of BSS colors, minimizing the chances that the assigned BSS color will cause an overlapping BSS color condition in the network.
