Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provides a water supply apparatus capable of performing a backup operation, without lowering water supply capability, when a failure has occurred in one control substrate due to surge or noise caused by lightning or due to lifetimes of various sensors, by switching to the other control substrate, and capable of reliably performing the backup operation by means of devices that prevent failure of the control substrates.SOLUTION: The water supply apparatus 1 includes: a plurality of pumps 3; a plurality of inverters INV each configured to change and control a rotational frequency of a corresponding one of the plurality of pumps 3; and a plurality of control substrates CN configured to control the plurality of inverters INV. When an abnormality occurs in one control substrate, other control substrate backs up the one control substrate to thereby allow the water supply apparatus to continue its operations. The one control substrate and the other control substrate are connected in series by communication lines via the plurality of inverters INV. A switch SW1 for turning on and off a communication is provided on the communication lines.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing mechanism capable of preventing abrasion and damage, even if a liner ring and a rotor contact each other, while keeping a clearance between the liner ring and the rotor small, and also capable of significantly reducing noise.SOLUTION: The sealing mechanism includes: a liner ring 6 placed in proximity to a pump rotor 1; a liner ring housing 7 and a liner ring cover 8 forming a space 10 for radially movably housing the liner ring 6; and protrusions 12 provided in at least either of the liner ring housing 7 and the liner ring cover 8 and facing a side of the liner ring 6. An axial movement of the liner ring 6 is substantially restrained by the protrusions 12.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booster water supply system which prevents excessive back pressure from being imposed on water supply equipment for lower stories, by preventing the backflow of water to the lower stories of a building from upper stories thereof, and which prevents air from being sucked in from a hydrant between the water supply equipment for the lower stories and water supply equipment for the upper stories. SOLUTION: This booster water supply system includes the first water supply equipment BP1 for the lower stories, which is connected to a water service pipe 2, and the second water supply equipment BP2 for the upper stories, which is serially connected to the first water supply equipment BP1 and arranged in a position higher than the first water supply equipment BP1. A backflow preventer 30 for preventing the backflow of the water to the lower stories from the upper stories is provided on the suction side of the pump P2 of the second water supply equipment BP2. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply device capable of continuing operation without causing inconvenience for a user of a customer even if abnormality is caused in a base board for controlling inverters. SOLUTION: This water supply device 1 has a plurality of pumps 3, a plurality of inverters 5 for variably controlling a rotational frequency of the corresponding pump, and a control part 6 for controlling the plurality of inverters 5. The control part 6 has a plurality of control base boards 60a and 60b capable of respectively and independently controlling the plurality of inverters 5, and controls the plurality of inverters 5 by backing up by the standby other control base board 60b or 60a when the abnormality is caused in one control base board 60a or 60b in operation. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical centrifugal pump capable of preventing dry operation of an air lock and a mechanical seal. SOLUTION: The pump is equipped with a casing 2 having an intake port 5 and a discharge port 6, an impeller 1 housed in the casing 2 and a mechanical seal 20 provided inside the casing 2 and arranged above the impeller 1. The casing 2 is formed at an upper end with a through hole 15 for discharging gas existing in the casing 2 along with liquid to an outside of the casing 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply system for reducing the size, weight, and manufacturing costs of the water supply system. SOLUTION: This water supply system has a pump 1 for forcibly feeding water, a control panel 2 for controlling operation of the pump 1, and a vibration control stand 9 for absorbing vibration of the pump 1. The pump 1 and the control panel 2 are directly installed on the vibration control stand 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and inexpensively prevent water from being splashed on a control panel or the like even though water leak takes place on a mechanical seal and furthermore to easily judge if the water leak takes place on the mechanical seal. SOLUTION: An equipment is provided with vertical type pumps 12a, 12b housing the mechanical seal inside it. It provides a notch 186 at position where the water collects when the water leak takes place on the mechanical seal of the vertical type pumps 12a, 12b. It covers surface of the notch 186 with a scattering prevention metal fitting 182 of leaking water opening downward. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
