Abstract:
Described is a piezoelectric transformer (10) having a surface structure which comprises at least one protruding surface structure segment (5), the piezoelectric transformer having a contour (3) and being suitable, in conjunction with a counter electrode (10), for discharging a gas in order to generate a plasma, and the surface structure being designed so that the gas discharge takes place at a plurality of discharge initiation points (6) on the contour (3). A width of the surface structure segment (5) is less than the width of the piezoelectric transformer (10).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a circuit assembly for controlling a piezoelectric transformer (PT) having an input capacitance (Cp) in a first circuit branch (1). The circuit assembly further comprises a second circuit branch for compensating the input capacitance, preferably by means of a capacitive element (Ck), and a differential amplifier (3) having two inputs, wherein the first input (31) is coupled (12) to the first circuit branch and the second input (32) is coupled (22) to the second circuit branch.
