Abstract:
A flash drive includes a main body and a casing pivotably installed to a first end of the main body. A universal serial bus (USB) connector extends from a second end of the main body. The casing includes two plates and an end piece perpendicularly connected between ends of the plates. The casing is pivoted toward the USB connector to enclose the USB connector.
Abstract:
A power supply system includes a power supply, a switch control circuit, a voltage rectifying circuit, and a trigger switch connected to the switch control circuit. The switch control circuit is connected between an alternating current (AC) power source and the power supply. The voltage rectifying circuit is connected between the AC power source and the switch control circuit to rectify an AC voltage into a direct current (DC) voltage to power the switch control circuit. When the computer system is powered off, the power supply fails to output a system voltage, and the trigger switch fails to be triggered, the switch control circuit disconnects the power supply from the AC power source. When the computer system is powered off, the power supply fails to output a system voltage, and the trigger switch is triggered, the switch control circuit connects the power supply to the AC power source.
Abstract:
A mounting apparatus for mounting an expansion card with a cover plate to a rear panel includes a retaining member fixed to the rear panel, and a pressing member slidably attached to the retaining member. The pressing member can be slid down to press the cover plate of the expansion card. The pressing member can be slid up to release the cover plate of the expansion card.
Abstract:
A temperature protection circuit includes a detection circuit, a comparison circuit, a switching circuit, and a control circuit. When the temperature of an electronic device is below a preset temperature, a detecting voltage signal exceeds a reference temperature signal, and the comparison circuit outputs a control signal to open the switching circuit. The control circuit directs a power circuit to provide voltage to an operating circuit. When a temperature of the electronic device exceeds the preset temperature, the detecting voltage signal is below the reference temperature signal, and the comparison circuit outputs a control signal to close the switching circuit. The control circuit directs the power circuit to stop supplying voltages to the operating circuit.
Abstract:
A keyboard can power a computer on or off. A switch arranged on the keyboard receives power on or off operations. A control chip in the keyboard outputs control signals to a microcontroller according to the power on or off operations. The microcontroller actuates a switch circuit to make a control terminal of a motherboard of the computer power on and off the computer.
Abstract:
A chassis of an electronic device includes an enclosure and a number of ball bars each having a number of balls. The enclosure defines a number of through holes. The ball bars are installed to an inner surface of the enclosure so the balls are rotatably received in the through holes. A lower part of each ball extends out of a bottom surface of the enclosure through the through hole.
Abstract:
An identification circuit is connected between a universal serial bus (USB) interface, and each of a controller and a power management unit (PMU). The identification circuit includes first to fourth electronic switches. When a power adapter is connected to the USB interface, the negative data pin of the USB interface is floating. The first and fourth electronic switches are turned off. The second and third electronic switches are turned on. Power from the power adapter is transmitted to the second power pin of the PMU. When the USB interface is connected to a computer, the negative data pin of the USB interface outputs a low level signal. The first and fourth electronic switches are turned on. The second and third electronic switches are turned off. Power from the computer is transmitted to an electronic device with the USB interface.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a chassis and an assisting apparatus for unplugging a Registered Jack-45 (RJ-45) connector having a resilient plate. The chassis includes a sidewall, and a connector installed in the chassis and exposed through the sidewall, for being connected to the RJ-45 connector. The assisting apparatus includes a fixing member mounted to the sidewall, a press member pivotably connected to the fixing member, and a torsion spring mounted between the fixing member and the press member. The press member includes a press portion protruding outwards. When the press member is rotated, the press portion presses the resilient plate of the RJ-45 connector, to allow the resilient plate to disengage from the connector of the chassis.
Abstract:
A mounting apparatus for mounting a removable module in a chassis with a sidewall defining a locking slot includes a locking member, and an operation member. The removable module includes a side plate defining a through slot, and an end plate defining a through hole adjacent to the end plate. The operation member is slidably attached to an inner surface of the side plate. The locking member includes a mounting piece fixed to the inner surface of the side plate, and a resilient piece slantingly extending from the mounting piece. A wedge extends from the resilient piece. The operation member includes a handle and a pressing portion. The handle is operated to slide the operation member in along the side plate to press the resilient piece toward the side plate, until the wedge extends through the through slot to lock in the locking slot of the sidewall.
