Abstract: The present invention provides a joined body manufacturing method with which the resin material is accurately attached to the first base material. The method includes: an attaching step of attaching a sheet material having resin material on one main surface of a sheet base material to a first base material such that a predetermined area is covered; a forming step of forming a slit for ease of separation on the sheet material attached to the first base material in accordance with the predetermined area; and a separating step of separating part of the resin material inside the slit from the sheet base material such that the part of the resin material inside the slit remains on the predetermined area of the first base material and part of the resin material outside the slit does not remain on the first base material.

Abstract: The inventions provides a method for immunologically determining a keratan sulfate level which method includes bringing an anti-keratan sulfate monoclonal antibody into contact with a biological sample, the anti-keratan sulfate monoclonal antibody exhibiting a relative reaction specificity between keratan sulfate-I and keratan sulfate-II represented by IC50KS-I/KS-II of 0.4 to 5, to thereby provide a signal; and detecting keratan sulfate contained in the biological sample from the signal. On the basis of the method, the invention also provides a joint disease detection method and a method for assessing the effect of a remedy for a joint disease and a candidate substance therefor. Through these methods, a very small amount of keratan sulfate contained in a sample, can be determined. Particularly, these methods can determine, at high-sensitivity and high-specificity, the total keratan sulfate including keratan sulfate-I, which have been difficult to determine through a conventional technique. The methods also enables detect a joint disease and assess the effect of a remedy for a joint disease or a candidate substance therefor.

Abstract: At a game apparatus 1 which instructs a player the time to operate a play button 5p of each operation unit 4 by moving an operation indicator 102 toward an operation criterion line 101 on a monitor 3 having a display surface 3a facing upward, while the appearance position of the operation indicator 102 being varied, the moving speed of the operation indicator 102 is calculated based on the distance from the appearance position up to the position corresponding to each operation unit 4 on the operation criterion line 101, and the access time that it takes for the operation indicator 102 to reach the operation criterion line 101. Based on the moving speed, the game apparatus varies by degrees the display position of the operation indicator 102.

Abstract: A Cu-CMP step applied to processes for 130 nm, 90 nm, and 65 nm technical nodes or the like mainly employs slurry to which an anticorrosive agent is added for preventing corrosion of Cu wiring. The inventors of the present application have studied and clearly found that in the Cu-CMP step using the slurry with the anticorrosive agent added thereto, the anticorrosive agent often forms complexes with Cu, which remain as foreign matter on a wafer in large quantity, leading to a reduction in yield, and in reliability of TDDB characteristics of the Cu wiring. In the invention of the present application, a post-CMP cleaning process involves applying wet cleaning to a wafer by supplying a cleaning solution, such as a chemical solution or pure water, to a device surface of the wafer substantially in a vertical direction with respect to the horizontal device surface, while rotating the wafer substantially about its center in the horizontal plane. The rotation speed of the wafer is set low such that the thickness of the cleaning solution over the entire device surface becomes substantially uniform.
