Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve print quality and ink absorptiveness by providing an ink absorptive layer containing a water-soluble resin or a water-dispersible resin and an ester nonionic surfactant whose HLB is a specified value or greater. SOLUTION: The ink absorptive layer is a layer containing a water soluble- resin or a water-dispersible resin and an ester noionic surfactant whose HLB is 11 or greater. The amount of the ester noinonic surfactant whose HLB is 11 or greater in the ink absorptive layer is 0.01 to 30 pts.wt. preferably 0.01 to 20 pts.wt., more preferably 0.1 to 10 pts.wt., or particularly preferably 0.5 to 10 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the water-soluble resin or the water-dispersible resin. The use of the ester noionic surfactant makes it possible to improve the wettability of ink and make ink to be absorbed easily into the inside of the ink absorptive layer.
